Beijing Police Torture a Young Falun Dafa Practitioner to Death and Demand that a Hospital Provide a False Death Certificate

One morning in the winter of 2000, the police brought the body of a young man who had been tortured to death to the emergency ward of a Beijing Hospital. When the doctors asked the police about the young man's name and his home address, the police said, "He doesn't have a name; he is a Falun Gong practitioner." Police demanded the hospital produce a death certificate that stipulated that the young practitioner had died suddenly of a heart attack. Although doctors refused, the police went to the head of the hospital and sealed all records containing information related to the practitioner's death. It is unknown what the hospital wrote as the cause of death on this young Falun Gong practitioner's death certificate. -
A Non-Practitioner's Eyewitness Account of the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners at the Jiutai Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp
2004-04-23Because of my wrongdoing, in 2003 I was sent to the Jilin Province Jiutai Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp. When I first arrived, due to the deceptive propaganda I had received while out in the world, I held a biased view and had a bad impression of the Falun Gong practitioners detained at the camp. Later, however, through frequent contact with the practitioners, my viewpoint gradually changed. I found out that they were not like what the TV stations, radio stations, or the newspapers had broadcast. Falun Gong practitioners were actually good people in society. Yet the treatment they received in the camp was so terrible, you would not believe it! I am revealing this cruel goings-on so that I hope that more people may offer understanding and sympathy to those being so unjustly persecuted. -
Ms. Chen Qing Dies During Police Raid in Kaiyuan City
2004-04-22On the evening of March 31, 2004, a site containing Falun Gong materials in Kaiyuan City, Liaoning Province was raided and destroyed by police. In order to escape abduction and cruel interrogation by the police, Ms. Chen Qing tried to slide down the side of the building using a bed sheet. Unfortunately, she fell and died. When we arrived at around 7:00 PM, we saw Ms. Chen's body at the foot of the six-story building. She was face down, and there was a big puddle of blood on the ground around her head. At the same time, we saw the long, knotted bed sheet, hanging from the sixth floor window. -
Lives of Peril for Three Female Practitioners Who Suffered Torture and Abuse at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp
2004-04-22Ms. Wang Yan, about 37 years old, is believed to be from Dalian City. She was abducted and taken to Masanjia Forced Labour Camp where she was tortured to emaciation and later sent to a mental hospital. Ms. Wang Wenjun, about 40 years old, experienced brainwashing, sleep deprivation and slave labour. Exposed to toxic materials, the unbearable intensity of such labour severely damaged her health. She was tortured to the brink of death. Ms. Zhao Caihua, around 30 years old, was hung up for two days and one night. She was also forced to sit in the cross-leg position for over 10 hours, and was coughing blood at the end. At the end she could not walk at all. -
A Junior High School Girl in Chenzhou City Is Deprived of Her Education for Promoting "Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance"
2004-04-22Ai Dan, a fourteen-year old girl, was a student in Hunan Province. She started practising Falun Dafa in 1998. In order to encourage people to follow "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance," Ai Dan began to promote Dafa to the teachers and students around her. One of the classmates who did not understand Falun Gong reported her to the teacher. The school officials tried to intimidate her, saying, "You have to leave school if you want to practise Falun Gong." Ai Dan was expelled from the school. -
Mr. Wang Zengcheng from Tianjin City is Beaten to Death in a Labour Camp for Refusing to Betray His Conscience
2004-04-21Mr. Wang Zengcheng was a 41-year-old Falun Dafa practitioner from Tianjin City. In 2003, he was unjustly sent to forced labour for 2.5 years. In the beginning of 2004, when his term was close to expiration, he was beaten to death for refusing to write and sign the so-called "Repentance Statement." [statement giving up the Falun Gong practice] When his family examined Mr. Wang Zengcheng's body, they found that no skin on his body, except an area the size of an egg, was in normal condition. This was confirmed in the official autopsy report. -
Falun Gong Practitioner Ms. Pei Cuirong from Hebei Province Dies from Torture
2004-04-21Ms. Pei Cuirong of Hebei Province suffered inhumane torture in a labour camp in Tangshan City. Her body was black and blue from savage electric shock batons. One day at the end of 2002, she suddenly felt dizzy and lost her eyesight. She was sent to a hospital, but not long after she returned home, one day she suddenly lost consciousness. This happened several times until finally she passed away in late June 2003. -
Young Wife and Child Left Heartboken as 30 year old Mr. Wang Dayuan Beaten to Death in Harbin First Prison
2004-04-21Mr. Wang Dayuan, 30 years old, was a teacher at the Computer Science and Technology Institute of Harbin Industry University. In November of 2002, the police unlawfully arrested him and ransacked his home. He received an eight-year prison term to be served at Harbin First Prison. He was tortured to death on April 5, 2004. The prison leaders tried to shift responsibility by saying that three criminal inmates beat Mr. Wang to death. We all know that the criminal inmates would not dare to commit such a crime without being ordered to by the police. The unexpected sad news brought Mr. Wang's family enormous pain. The young wife, young child, and elderly parents can no longer see their most beloved one. -
Ms. Yang Junping from Inner Mongolia Persecuted to Death in 2002
2004-04-21Ms. Yang Junping was a 30-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Inner Mongolia, with a 12 year old child. After taking up the practice of Falun Gong she recovered from the late-stage cancer she had been suffering from. However due to several detentions her old illnesses recurred. The police demanded 2,000 yuan from her as a condition for her release on medical parole. In order to get her out, the family had to their mortgage their home to pay the police. After Ms. Yang returned home, the police still often harassed and monitored her. In August 2002, she passed away. -
Merciless Persecution Causes Elderly Dafa Practitioner, Ms. Wang Shuhua, to Die of Fatal Disease
2004-04-21Ms. Wang Shuhua was a 58-year-old resident of Tianjin City. Because she persisted in practising Falun Gong and clarifying the truth about Falun Gong, she was arrested on July 20, 2001. While in the detention center, she was mercilessly tortured. This caused her heart disease, which had been cured through the practice of Falun Gong, to recur. She was released 50 days later, but passed away on June 1, 2002 as a result of the persecution she had suffered. -
Beatings, Humiliation and Brainwashing Lead to Death of Hubei Province Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Liu Wenbin
2004-04-21Mr. Liu Wenbin, 54, was an official with the Light Industry Bureau Supply Company of Xiantao City. After having recovered from various diseases since he started practising Falun Gong, he was happy to tell people the benefits he had received, even after the persecution began. Unfortunately he was thus arrested and he lost his job. Criminals beat, insulted him and he endured rigourous brainwashing. When his family came to talk to policeman Zhou Guohuai and explained to him that Liu was very weak. Zhou said, "I'm not afraid of him dying here." Later Liu was released but the police kept harassing him until he passed away. -
The Pre-Sentence Experiences of a Female Engineer in Chengdu City
2004-04-20On September 29th, 2002, Zhang Yanrong was abducted and sent to Pi County Detention Centre. The police did not inform her family members. The week that her case was brought to court, she was subjected to various tortures. She was not allowed to sleep, and several dozen policemen took turns interrogating her, constantly shining glaring lights in her face. She was handcuffed very tightly, and the handcuffs cut deep into her flesh. The police did not allow her to close her eyes, they even yelled, “we will beat you till your brain stops working." -
More Information On Zhao Guoan's Torture Death at Xuchang City's No. 3 Labour Camp

Mr Zhao Guoan, was a 55 year old Dafa practitioner in Luohe City, Henan Province. Because Mr. Zhao kept telling people about Falun Gong, he was sent to Xuchang City No. 3 Labour Camp by the police on August 7, 2003. Four months later, his family was notified by the labour camp that Mr. Zhao had died of a "heart attack." When his wife, Ms. Zhang Guirong, insisted on seeing his body, she was greatly shocked by what she saw. -
Slave Labour in Toxic Conditions Led to Death of Practitioner Zhao Fengyun in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp
2004-04-19On February 27, 2004, fifty year old Ms. Zhao Fengyun, died after enduring long periods of physical and mental torture at Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. Zhao Fengyun was forced to do intensive labour, book printing for a printing factory. She worked from 6 am to 9 or 10 pm. There was a machine, JBE3-50, that emitted a very strong and toxic smell of glue. Under these conditions, Zhao Fengyun suddenly had a heart attack and passed away. -
Police Feign Apologies, Trying to Collect and Destroy Evidence of Their Persecution of Falun Gong in Maoming City
2004-04-19Representatives from the public security bureau and the local police station in Maoming city, Guangdong province went to visit Falun Dafa practitioners who had been persecuted in the town of Aonei. They made apologies, hoping that they would not be prosecuted for their crimes in the future. They said that Dafa practitioners were good and it was a mistake for them to arrest practitioners. They asked the practitioners to hand over any evidence of persecution. If practitioners do so, however, they will have no evidence on hand for future lawsuits that would expose the persecutors' crimes.
