On June 26th, 2005, a church in Las Vegas invited some local Falun Dafa practitioners to give a presentation on Falun Gong and to teach the exercises. The parishioners of that church normally meet every month to learn about other faiths and philosophical opinions. The night before this event, our host Susan had watched the movie, "Sandstorm." She told us she was moved to tears by this award-winning movie about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Canada: A Special Gift for Independence Day - Practitioners Meet the Prime Minister While Validating the Fa
2005-07-18Thousands of visitors from all over the country gathered in front of Capitol Hill on July 1st, Canada's Independence Day, to celebrate Canada's 138th birthday. Falun Gong practitioners went to the Human Rights Memorial, located in front of the Prime Minister's office, to introduce Falun Dafa and tell the Canadian people the facts about the practice and the persecution in China. Many people expressed their interest in and support for Falun Gong. Around 10 a.m. that morning, Canadian Prime Minister Paul Martin, who had come to attend the Independence Day celebration, arrived and shook hands with practitioners, who were eager to tell him the facts about Falun Gong. -

Taiwan: Minghui School Holds Summer Camp

During the first week of summer break, Hualian Minghui School organised a variety of activities for more than 20 teenagers. During the five-day summer camp, the children read Falun Dafa books and articles.
