  • UK: European Friends of Falun Gong holds Seminar in Houses of Parliament

    After an informal lunch, which gave UK Falun Gong practitioners a great chance to let important dignitaries know more about the persecution Falun Gong, the seminar presentations began. This part of the seminar was chaired by Iain Luke MP, a Member of UK Parliament who has worked hard for the human rights of Falun Gong practitioners.
  • Finland invites a Leader who has been accused of Human Rights Violations

    “Luo Gan is the head of the Gestapo-like office. The office is doing a dirty job, carrying out this persecution. It is unbelievable that a man who is committing an act of genocide is invited to Finland.”
  • Germany: A Picture Exhibition to Expose the Crimes of Jiang Zemin

    As part of the Global Lawsuit against Jiang Zemin, a picture exhibition depicting Jiang’s crimes of genocide was held in Irlandgen, Germany. The dates of the picture exhibition coincided with the election of state senators. Many Chinese people were also in the city, at Siemens Hi-Tec Training Base.
  • Report from Activities during Chinese Criminal Luo Gan’s Visit to Iceland

    As Luo Gan passed by he had a full view of the beautiful Falun Gong banners blowing in the wind. Journalists from Iceland's major media organisations were present. That night Iceland TV carried reports on this event letting more Icelandic people know about the horrific abuses of human rights that are happening to Falun Gong practitioners in China.

  • Photo Report: Swiss Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Press Conference in Geneva

    On the 4th of September 2003, Swiss Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in Geneva, and announced that in order to be able to continue to speak on behalf of the hundreds of thousands of Falun Gong practitioners detained and tortured in China, Swiss citizens and victims of the persecution, have decided to take joint action against the Jiang regime to obtain compensation legally.
  • Ukraine: Dafa Practitioners Hold a Performance for Children

    On the 29th August, Dafa practitioners held a performance at a Children’s Home in Kiev. The performances included dancing accompanied by a traditional Ukrainian instrument, the Bantula, as well as several songs, some of which were composed by Dafa practitioners as well as traditional Ukrainian songs.
  • Iceland: Media Show Great Interest In Lawsuit Launched Against Head of 610 Office

    After submitting the lawsuit, European practitioners and Ragnar Adalsteinsson held a press conference outside of the Ministry of Justice only metres away from the building where Luo Gan was. The press conference was attended by Iceland media, including major newspapers, TV stations and radio stations.
  • Russia: Stories of Spreading Falun Gong in City of Tver

    When we were distributing materials, two boys came along and said they would like to hand out materials for us. They skated and gave out materials to the crowd. They returned for more when they had given out all of the materials. Later they went home to get their bikes. Perhaps they wanted to travel further to hand out the materials. That day, we distributed several thousand Dafa booklets and newspapers.
  • Germany: Picture Exhibition about Global Lawsuits against Jiang Zemin held in a Park

    Many passers-by signed the petition after viewing the exhibition boards. The shocking truth of this persecution is becoming known to more and more people and giving them the chance to appeal for an end to the violence and the violations of human rights and freedom of belief, and to bring the dictator Jiang Zemin to justice.
  • Denmark: Practitioners’ Performance is Very Successful at the Aarhus Cultural Festival

    On the last day, our performance attracted the attention of a photographer from the biggest newspaper in Denmark. He said that he would put the picture of our fan dance on the front page. The biggest TV station in Jutland, “Denmark TV Channel 2”, also interviewed practitioners during the festival. The three days of activities were very successful.
  • Spain: Practitioners held a Press Conference to Expose Jiang Zemin’s Crimes

    An Australian practitioner whose husband was murdered because he practises Falun Gong, described the experiences of her family and called on the Chinese government to end the persecution. This was eagerly noted by the reporters who later interviewed practitioners. The most influential media in Spain took part in this press conference.
  • Norway: Clarifying the Facts and Promoting Falun Gong in Sandefjord

    There were many people who said they’d never heard of Falun Gong before. They wanted to learn the exercises and asked practitioners where they could take part in a Falun Gong introduction course. Practitioners let them know more about the free exercise classes. One group of children were so keen that they asked to learn the exercises on the spot!
  • Sweden: Minghui School Officially Opens in Stockholm

    On August 30, Stockholm Minghui School formally opened. Minghui School takes Truth-Compassion-Tolerance as the guiding principles and will teach children Chinese, drawing and help them to study Zhuan Falun. Accompanied by their parents, about 15 children eagerly attended their first day of class. The children will meet every Saturday.
  • UK: Around 1,000 People Enjoyed the Falun Gong Performance at Brighton Art Festival

    Two days after the Art Festival, the organiser congratulated the practitioners on their performance. In the meantime, the practitioners were invited to take part in another Art Festival. No doubt this is another great opportunity to let more people know about Falun Dafa, the practice based on Truthfulness, Kindness and Tolerance, and the brutal persecution of practitioners in China.
