  • Slovakia: Divine Performing Arts Performs to a Full House

    The Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular premiered to a full house at the Slovak National Theater in Bratislava, Slovakia on March 9th, 2008. According to the organizer, the tickets were completely sold out a week before the performance. Many people who did not get tickets in time were disappointed that they could not see it this year.
  • Czech Republic: Premiere of the Divine Performing Arts' Chinese Spectacular in Prague is Well-Received, CCP's Interference is Criticized

    The Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular premiered at the Prague Congress Center on March 10th, 2008. Many dignitaries, including people from political circles, and art and cultural circles as well as people from all walks of life attended the more than two hours performance showcasing China's 5,000 years of traditional culture.

  • Switzerland: Divine Performing Arts Honoured for Promoting Traditional Chinese Culture in Geneva

    On the evening of March 4th, many gathered at the Theatre du Leman in Geneva for the Chinese New Year Spectacular. To the performers' surprise, renowned Swiss violinist Armene Stakian and a representative from the Traditional Chinese Cultural Arts Renaissance Association presented a music box to the Divine Performing Arts Company in appreciation of their efforts.

    A Chinese lady who married into France said to a reporter, “I was a dancer in mainland China. The performance was absolutely perfect. From choreography to costumes everything was beautiful". Her husband commented happily, “Stunning, poetic and colourful. We seemed to have been transported to China far away.”
  • Switzerland: People from the Fields of Politics, Business, Finance and Art Enjoy a Feast of Chinese Culture in Geneva

    The Divine Performing Arts Company on Tour arrived in Geneva, Switzerland on March 3, 2008 at the invitation of 12 financial and international organizations. The two-plus-hour show at Theatre du Leman won thunderous applause from the audience and the performers had to answer the curtain call twice at the end the show.
  • Germany People of Halle are Shocked by the Atrocities of the Chinese Communist Party

    At the exhibition stand placed by Falun Gong practitioners at the Rathausplatz, the people of Halle were shocked and indignant when seeing the information about the CCP’s cruel torture and spiritual destruction of the Chinese Falun Gong practitioners. Practitioners' petition forms were quickly signed one after another.
  • Austria: The Divine Performing Arts Debuts in Vienna

    The Divine Performing Arts held its first Chinese Spectacular in Vienna, Austria on March 6, to a warm welcome from the artistic community. Gregor Hatala, the leading Ballet dancer for the Austrian State Opera House, Jennifer O'Loughlin, Soprano of Vienna Opera House, and Kathrin Czerny, a famous Ballet dancer in Austria, gave the show high marks.

    From February 29th to March 2nd, the Divine Performing Arts (DPA) performed four shows at the Palais des Congres in Paris. Many local artists were impressed when they came to see the show. "For me, China is magical and beautiful," said Marie-Silvia. "The China the DPA presented to us is completely not the current China we see in our mind."

    The premiere of the Divine Performing Arts Touring Company's Chinese Spectacular in Geneva took place on the evening of March 3rd, 2008. Dr. Naseeb Dajani, chairman and chief technical officer of the Global Harmony Foundation (GHF), said, "Very beautiful ... very classical ... I really liked the performance. In particular, the dance about the persecution of Falun Gong ("The Power of Awareness") was very impressive".

    On February 26-27, 2008, the Divine Performing Arts staged three successful shows by the Chinese Spectacular at the Stadsschouwburg Theater in Antwerp, the second largest city in Belgium. The performance was a huge success, and audiences responded with overwhelming applause.

    On March 4th, 2008, during the intermission of the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular's second show in Geneva, the reporter came across Mr. and Mrs. Sarkissian. When asked about their impression of the show, Mrs. Sarkissian said, "I like it very much, the colours are just beautiful. I don't know what to say, it's beyond description."

    On the evening of March 4th, 2008, the Theatre du Leman in Geneva, Switzerland was again filled to capacity for the Divine Performing Arts Chinese Spectacular. Jean-Paul, an insurance executive, said, "I know little about Chinese culture, but I found myself captivated by the costumes and colours, as well as the live orchestra".
  • France: Showgoers Thoroughly Enjoy DPA Chinese Spectacular

    "For me, the performance delivered a strong sense of wisdom", said a schoolteacher. "It totally had me. I was trembling throughout the show - everything was so magnificent! The dance was full of grace and wisdom, so beautiful. The performance really excited me. It's a unique feeling - I felt a stream of heat pass through me,"
  • France: "The Show Broadens One's Understanding of Chinese Culture"

    "We like Chinese culture. From the show, we learned a lot about it," Ms. Dardaine said to a reporter after the fourth show of the Chinese Spectacular in Paris on March 2nd. Ms. Dardaine said: "The show was captivating . The beautiful costumes, dances and background scenes were like a dream." Other people also commented that the show broadened their view of Chinese culture.
