One man in a business suit initially refused my leaflet until I said, "It's been five years, and more than a thousand people have been tortured to death." 2004-10-17The book exhibition was opened for VIP's and specially invited guests for three days from April 13th. The general opening ceremony was held on April 16th, when it was opened to the public. The opening ceremony was grand as senators, mayors and foreign ambassadors all came to attend the event. Publishers from over 400 publishing companies and bookstores from all over the world came to attend. There were also special halls representing each of the Central and South American countries, introducing their cultural aspects. -

2004-10-13I did not understand why I started to practise so late. I know now that everything happens for a reason. First, as a new practitioner, no one has been watching me; secondly, with a stable job and income, I am in good financial shape; thirdly, I have basic computer skills; and fourthly, I have a good family environment, so I have ample time and energy. 2004-10-07We met two mayors. One mayor opened a heavy door for us when we struggled to enter the town hall. We talked to him, thinking that he was a receptionist. Another mayor, who was attending a local meeting, rushed back to his office when he noticed us in the hallway. He came to greet us and shook our hands. It was as if we were being reunited with a family member.
