Famous Bridge Engineer Illegally Sentenced to Prison for Practising Falun Gong

During his illegal detention, the Changchun City Mayor asked for his release in person because he was needed for a project. But his company said, "As long as he writes a pledge, his job will be reinstated and his salary compensated." Since this practitioner steadfastly holds on to his belief, he didn't agree to any of the conditions offered. In the end, he was sent back to the No. 2 Detention Centre in Changchun. -

A Practitioner's Experience of Torment and Anguish
2003-07-28In October 2001, because I was persistent in practising Falun Dafa, police from Division One of my hometown police department arrested me. They took all my Dafa books without a search warrant. In the evening, they led me blind-folded to an unknown place. In the enquiry room, they handcuffed me to a tiger bench (a torture device). Two policemen in their 20's told me that they had forced an older lady to stay outside in the winter for a whole night. She fainted in the cold and was injected with medicine to wake her up in the morning. They threatened to beat me so badly that I would lose control of my bowels and bladder. -

2003-07-28One such time, after the force feeding, looking at the blood-dripping tube, policewoman Kou Na even rediculed Bai Hong. Kou Na is a policewoman of the 2nd Division of the female labour camp. She frequently beats Dafa practitioners brutally, and often threatens them by saying - "The leaders have said that it would not even matter to beat Falun Gong practitioners to death. If you don't repent, we will torment you to death! After you die, we will just say it was caused by a sudden heart attack. The coroner is one of our people." -

2003-07-27Fifty days after he got married, thugs from Yuangquan City Police Department and the city "610 Office" tricked him to a brainwashing class to persecute him. Li Huiwen refused to give up Dafa practise and was brutally tortured. He was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labour. On February 26, 2003, he was cruelly tortured to death at the Xindian Labour Camp in Taiyuan City. -
U.S Permanent Resident Arrested While Visiting Her Family in China and Sentenced to Two Years of Forced Labour
2003-07-27Fifty-year old Ms. Li Meizi, is a permanent resident of the U.S. In September 2002, she went back to Beijing from Florida to take care of her elderly parents. One day in November of the same year, while having dinner at her friend's home, the police broke in and searched the whole place. The police found two copies of flyers in her handbag. As a result, she was arrested and sent to a detention centre. -
Atrocities at the Sanshui Forced Labour Camp
2003-07-27Ms. Chen was kept in the "dark chamber" for ten consecutive days, where she had to continuously squat on her heels for 24 hours a day. If she lost consciousness she would be beaten with electric batons. Every day, police and drug addicts took turns persecuting her and beating her. She was prohibited from sleeping or going to the lavatory for ten consecutive days. Those who had some decency couldn't help but shed tears and felt sorry for her. To hide their crimes, the evil guards gagged Ms. Chen's mouth to silence her screams. -
Crimes Committed by Yanshi City "610 Office" Against Dafa Practitioners
2003-07-27In 2000, under orders from Jiang Zemin, the officials gave an ultimatum: "If three people from Yanshi City go to Beijing to appeal, the mayor will be removed from office. If even one person in a given county goes to Beijing to appeal, then the community Party leader of that county will be replaced." Since then, in order to keep their political titles, officials in all areas have strictly controlled the Falun Gong practitioners and cruelly persecuted them. -

Panjin City Labour Camp Responsible for Torturing Dafa Practitioner to Death
2003-07-26In early July, Dafa practitioner Liu Dejun from the Liaohe Oil Field was tortured to death at Panjin City Labour Camp in Liaoning Province. In order to shirk responsibilities, the guards at the labour camp handled the body and carried it out of the camp as if it were a live person. They then transferred him from labour re-education to formal arrest, and took his body to a detention centre. To the outside they falsely claimed Liu was still alive whilst in the labour camp. -
Barbaric Force-Feeding Kills Two 50 Year Old Female Practitioners
2003-07-26Dr. Du, a family man and doctor on the staff at the labour camp's hospital, invented this torturous force-feeding method. During this force-feeding, when Du saw that a practitioner was struggling and almost out of breath, guessing that the practitioner's heart was just about to stop, he would press down hard over the practitioner's heart, then release his hand, allowing the food to go down. The entire procedure was then repeated six or seven times per force-feeding session. -
Head of Labour Camp Discloses that Jiang Zemin's Gang Allocated 180,000 Yuan to Further the Camp's Persecution of Falun Gong
2003-07-26He was a bit embarrassed and replied, "We have orders from above to punish those who do not give up Falun Gong. We also ask drug addicts or prostitutes to torture Falun Gong practitioners. If they do well, then they can get reduction in their sentences; otherwise, their terms may be extended. This way, those criminals have a great incentive to persecute Falun Gong."
