136 Shaanxi Province Falun Gong Practitioners Sue Jiang Zemin's Political Gang -- Part 1

Police captain Zhao Xiaoyang (age 40), said with hypocrisy, "At each meeting we'd like to know about Dafa practitioners' opinion. So everybody can write out your thoughts. You can also talk to me." However, when practitioners truly wrote out their righteous understanding of Dafa and expressed their determination to continue practising, Zhao revealed his true nature. He raised the police club (except for the first meeting, he always carried a police club with him) saying, "Carrying people out from the labour camp is the same as carrying people out from the hospital!" (Meaning deaths at the labour camp are not different from deaths at the hospital, both are treated as deaths from natural causes). -
Belated Report: Two Falun Dafa Practitioners Tortured to Death in Gongyi City, Henan Province
2004-04-01In November 1999, Mr. Chang Baoli, only 20 years old, went to Beijing to validate the Fa. He was arrested in Beijing, and sent back to the Gongyi City Police Station where police beat him to death on the very first day. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Huang Xiangwei on the Verge of Death after 100 Day Hunger Strike in Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp
2004-04-01In an attempt to force Mr. Huang to renounce his belief in Falun Dafa, the police in Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp took turns jogging while dragging Mr. Huang, who was already paralysed and in a weakened condition, on the ground in the courtyard. Mr. Huang's pants were soaked in blood from this torture. Afterwards, Mr. Huang started a hunger strike to protest the torture and his illegal incarceration. As of March 27, 2004, Mr. Huang has been on the hunger strike for nearly 100 consecutive days and is now on the verge of death. -
Police Chief Lu Hongyan Severely Tortures Elderly Women in Lushuihe Town, Jilin Province
2004-04-01Since Lu Hongyan, deputy chief of Lushuihe Town Police Department, took office, he has been the major culprit responsible for persecuting local Falun Dafa practitioners. He has extorted money from Falun Gong practitioners and cruelly beaten them, often leaving their entire bodies bruised, not even sparing elderly women of sixty to seventy years of age. He beats them up the same way as he does criminals. -
Dalian Dafa Practitioners Injected with Harmful Drugs at the Lushun 215 Mental Hospital
2004-04-01Since the Jiang regime first began the suppression of Falun Gong on July 20, 1999, they have abused their power by mobilising their propaganda machine to slander and defame Falun Dafa. They have utilised judicial systems, army troops and all other dictatorial resources to persecute Falun Gong. On that July 20, we went to the Appeals Office in Dalian City to make an appeal for Falun Dafa. On July 21, various police personnel, such as Dalian policemen, anti-riot police and military police, all began beating us. They used electric batons and wooden nightsticks to violently beat all practitioners, regardless of whether they were young, old, male or female. -
The World Psychiatric Association Will Investigate Psychiatric Abuse against Falun Gong Practitioners in China
2004-03-31According to the message sent out through an NGO established last year in New York, China Psychiatric Watch, that Further to last month message, a plan for WPA and SP joint meeting (visit) in Beijing on April the 4th 2004 was accepted by the Chinese Minister of Health and the CSP for examining the records, interviewing patients and their families or doctors who were involved in the examination of those patients after obtaining their consent and access to what is required for those cases that allegedly were subjected to psychiatric abuse. -

2004-03-31 Lin Lianghua hurried to the hospital, and found Wang was very pale with clumps of blood in his hair, and wounds on his head. There were several big scars on his head, and there were several purple coloured bruises on his forehead. He was only skin and bones, he had urinary and fecal incontinence, and was mentally a vegetable. She questioned medical employees and plain-clothes police around her, as to why her husband was dying, when he was perfectly fine before they arrested him? They could not answer her. Lin Lianghua had to arrange to take her husband home on April 20. -
Death of Chongqing City Dafa Practitioner Ms. Liao Furong as a Result of Torture in the Pengshui County Detention Centre
2004-03-31Currently only scanty details are known about the death of Ms. Liao Furong,due to the information blockade from the Chinese authorities. On November 19, 2000, Liao Furong went to Tiananmen Square with another local practitioner to unfurl a "Truth-Compassion-Forbearance" banner. Ms. Liao was arrested and suffered severe torture at the Pengshui County Detention Centre. Later she was sentenced to four and a half years of forced labour. However, the Yongchuan Female Prison refused to accept her because of her severe injuries from the beatings. Her death is tragically yet one more senseless fatality due to firmly adhering to her peaceful belief. -
Sichuan Province Dafa Practitioner Ms. Luo Junling Died after Having Been Tortured at Nanmusi Forced Labour Camp
2004-03-31Ms. Luo Junling was respectful of her elders. She had lived a happy family life and a harmonious life with her husband. Because of clarifying the truth about Falun Gong, she was unlawfully detained at Nanmusi Female Forced Labour Camp for one year, where she suffered cruel tortures. She, who clarified the truth to awaken Chinese People from the authorities' lies and propaganda, was persecuted and cruelly beaten to death by the depraved and inhuman people of her county. -
Jilin Province Dafa Practitioner Mr. Cui Jianbo Dies of Torture-Induced Illness
2004-03-31After his release, Cui recovered a bit. But he was still very weak. His wife was sentenced to a labour camp for her belief in Dafa, which also caused a great mental burden for him. He also needed to take care of the heavy housework with his emaciated body. In late 2003, his condition worsened. He was twice rushed to the hospital. The doctors said his lungs were rotten. After he came back from the hospital, he struggled for another 6 months. On February 14, 2004, he passed away with his illness not cured. He was only 41 years old. -
Belated News: Ms. Zhang Yanju Confirmed to Have Died of Persecution Four Years Ago
2004-03-31A policeman from Chengdong Police Station (phone: 86-418-8823404) confirmed Zhang's death and told the caller that it was the police department that ordered them to send Zhang to the detention centre. But he refused to provide any further information, claiming that the campaign the authorities waged against Falun Gong is a political battle and he cannot answer relevant questions. The above news indicates that many of the death cases of Falun Gong practitioners have been intentionally blocked. The actual death toll of Falun Gong practitioners should have far exceeded the figure of over 900 known to the public. -
The Death of Han Chunyuan - Caused by Brutal Force-Feeding in Jilin Province Female Prison
2004-03-31Then Zou, a prison guard from the education section showed up. Zou is evil and is in charge of newly arrived prisoners.... Jilin Province Female Prison blocked the news that Han Chunyuan died as a result of the persecution. Instead, they lied that Han Chunyuan had been sent home. The prison guards threatened inmates who were at the scene not to reveal the true story if they were asked. We don't know what fabricated stories the prison told her family. -

2004-03-30At that time, my son was fifteen years old and studying at Nanlan Middle School. On the night before my home was searched, the police woke him up. Terrified and dressed only in his nightclothes, my son shivered from the cold while the police interrogated him. The next morning, when he arrived at school, he learned that he had been suspended. When he returned home, he was shocked at seeing the mess caused by the police's search. Not knowing what to do, my son slept in a cold corner for the night. -
Practitioners Forced to Do Slave Labour and Exposed to Environmental Contamination at the Qingpu Female Forced Labour Camp
2004-03-30 During that time the work was to connect light bulbs. A practitioner had to link eighteen small light bulbs together with metal clamps, which meant connecting two wires for each section. The goal was one and a half bags, or connecting many sets of a total number of 4,800 light bulbs daily. Many people's hands became deformed, finger-nails broken and some suffered from stiff finger joints or tendonitis. The practitioners were not allowed to sleep until the goal was reached. Meanwhile, the captain and monitors accused them of being lazy.
