Judge Hou Peng from Court in Shanxi Province Tramples the Law to Frame the Innocent

Hou Peng, Presiding Judge of the Linfen City Court has held numerous trials against Falun Gong practitioners since the persecution against Falun Gong began on July 20, 1999. As a law enforcement official, Hou has framed Falun Dafa practitioners without adhering to the facts or following the laws and regulations. As a result, many Falun Dafa practitioners have been sent to prison and lost their jobs. -

Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Sun Guirong from Heilongjiang Province Dies as a Result of Mistreatment

Ms. Sun Guirong was sentenced to prison and tortured until she became seriously ill. She was diagnosed with late-stage colon cancer and only then released. The police continued to harass and threaten her at home, until she passed away in January 2005. -
65 Year Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr Cui Dexin from Hebei Province Died in 2002 as a Result of Mistreatment and Constant Harassment
2005-02-18Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Cui Dexin was 65 years old. In 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa. The policemen at Tiananmen Square, however, detained him and sent him to the Shijiazhuang City Liaison Office in Beijing, where he was tortured. he was released after his family were forced to pay 1200 yuan. At that time, he was already very weak due to the torture. As a result of being continually harassed and threatened, Cui Dexin passed away in April 2002. -
My Husband Was Persecuted to the Point of Mental Collapse and Death
2005-02-18"In August 2001, my husband was sent to a brainwashing class at the Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp to be "reformed". In only a few days, he was tortured to the point of mental collapse. In February 2002, still not fully recovered, he was once again forcibly taken away and again sent to the Tuanhe Forced Labour Camp. When he was released in July 2003, he had been tortured to the point where he was unable to take care of himself. He was bedridden for a long time and he eventually passed away in November 2004." -
Ms. Liu Yuzhu Persecuted to Death, Leaving 17 Year Old Son Orphaned in Jilin City

Liu Yuzhu suffered electric shocks from batons and forced-feeding in a labour camp, because she would not renounce Falun Dafa. After her release continuous harassment and a weakened body led to her death in June 2004. She has left behind a 17 year old son and husband. -
Falun Gong Practitioners Mr. Zhang Honghuai and Ms. Zhou Liru Pass Away as a Result of the Persecution
2005-02-1764-year-old Mr. Zhang Honghuai from Jilin Province was sentenced to two years of forced labour for practising Falun Gong. He was tortured, which resulted in the relapse of the liver disease he had prior to Falun Gong. Although released, local authorities still often went to his home to harass him. Suffering from both serious mental and physical trauma, he died in November 2004. 50 year old Ms. Zhou Liru lived in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. she also suffered from serious mental and physical trauma, which led to her death in October 2004. -
79 Year Old Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Qu Baifu from Liaoning Province Died from Persecution in 2001
2005-02-17Mr. Qu Baifu was 79 years old. After July 20, 1999, Jiang Zemin ordered the "610 Office" to systematically follow his genocidal policy to "ruin their reputations, bankrupt them financially, and destroy them physically." Police repeatedly came to his home to harass and threaten him. They ransacked his house looking for Falun Dafa material. Mr. Qu's son, daughter-in-law, second and third daughter were all sentenced to forced labour, which devastated Mr. Qu. He died on August 27, 2001 as the result of the cruel persecution. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Chen Huakun Died Destitute and Homeless at Age of 75 as a Result of Persecution
2005-02-17Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Chen Huakun was 75 years old and lived in Suining City. After he started cultivating Falun Dafa in June 1997, he became healthy. He clarified the truth to people, and as a result he was targeted by officials. He had to become destitute and homeless in order to avoid being arrested. As a result of the severe persecution, he died on December 18, 2003. -
Mr. Zhang Ruiyou Dies as a Result of Police Harassment in Hebei Province in 2000
2005-02-17Mr. Zhang Ruiyou was in his 40's and lived in Wei County, Hebei Province. He was very healthy as he cultivated Falun Dafa with a firm and steady faith. The local "610 Office" started to harass him in January 2000. Twice they arrested Mr. Zhang. He died in December 2000 after repeated abuse from the authorities. -
Ms Liu Tongling, in Her Fifties, Was Persecuted to Death at Heilongjiang Women's Forced Labour Camp in 2003
2005-02-16Ms. Liu Tongling, a 52 year old Falun Dafa practitioner, was sent to Heilongjiang Women's Forced Labour Camp for practising Falun Gong in October 2003. The forced labour camp tried to forcibly "transform" her by brutal beating and freezing her unclothed body (in November and in the basement). In November 2003, wearing no trousers or socks, she was tortured to death on the metal chair in the basement. -
Practitioner Ms. Qiu Aihua from Shandong Province Passed Away As a Result of Abuse from Authorities and Her Husband
2005-02-16Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Qiu Aihua was 44 years old. After she went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong in 2000, she was tortured so badly that she became disfigured. The authorities also fired both her husband and her from their jobs. Therefore, her husband was furious with her and often beat her. As a result of the persecution, Qiu Aihua suffered immense physical and mental distress and passed away on June 26, 2004. -
Jilin Prison's Condition for Medical Parole: One Has to Be within Days of Death before Returning Home
2005-02-16Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Sun Changde was not able to take care of himself after extensive torture and abuse at the Jilin No. 2 Prison. His weight dropped from 200 pounds to around 140 pounds. His family had asked the prison officials to release him on a medical parole. Zhang Yong, a prison officer, said, "There are only two ways to obtain a medical parole. One is that you have a lot of money. We can do it even if there is no illness. The other is that the prisoner has only a few days to live. These are the prerequisites for a medical parole." -
I Was Brutally Force Fed at Changsha City Detention Centre
2005-02-16"The day after I was detained I went on a hunger strike. On the fourth day of my hunger strike, a policeman ordered inmates to force-feed me. They pushed me onto the floor, stood on my feet, and twisted my hands so that I would be in too much pain to resist. One person pushed my head, while another pinched my nose to suffocate me. Another inmate used a brush (used to clean toilets) to pry open my mouth and then used a bottle to force food into my mouth." -
Elderly Falun Dafa Practitioner Ms. Jia Cuiying from Hunan Province was Tortured to Death
2005-02-15Ms. Jia Cuiying was 61 years old. She was a resident of Hunan Province. In late 2001, she was sentenced to a 5-year prison term without legal cause and detained at Hunan Province Women's Prison. Because of the several years of unlawful detention and persecution and cruel mental and physical torture, her old illnesses recurred. She was diagnosed with lung cancer in May 2004. She was released for medical treatment in June 2004. On October 20, 2004, Ms. Jia passed away.
