Account of the Torture I Suffered in the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp During the Past Three Years (Part 1)

The author of this article has been illegally detained at the Masanjia Forced Labour Camp, Shenyang, Liaoning Province since October 1999, only because she practised Falun Gong. In the laour camp, the torture she suffered caused her to almost become blind, and she lost her hearing from being beaten. She was shocked by electric batons, heavily beaten up, shut up in a closed cell, and forced to perform hard labour. -
More Information On The Unlawful Killing of Ms Zheng Lanfeng
2003-05-04In the beginning of 2003, she was reported while she was distributing this material in the countryside. She had committed no crime; her only wish was to tell people the true situation of Falun Gong. On February 11, 2003, she was once again arrested. On February 28, Zheng Lanfeng died of torture. Only after her body had been sent to Chifeng City No. 3 Hospital on March 5, 2003 did the police inform her family. -

Further Details on Death of Dafa Practitioner Xu Xijun
2003-05-04While in detention, because he firmly cultivated Dafa, he was subjected to both mental and physical torture. As a result, he could not eat, and an x-ray examination showed there was a shadow in his lungs. Not wanting to take responsibility should he die in the labour camp, the camp released him on medical parole in October 2001. However, the camp kept harassing him while he was home recovering. Not being able to recover, Mr. Xu passed away in May 2002. -

It was truly a hell on earth. -

2003-05-03On the morning of April 25, 2003, police in the Jinzhou City Labour Camp contacted his family and lied, saying that Shi suddenly got sick with difficulty breathing and lost consciousness, and had been sent to the 205 Hospital Respiratory Department for a rescue effort. Witnesses said, "Shi Zhongyan had been tortured until only skin and bones were left, his toes were purple and blue, and he lost consciousness. He wore a set of cotton jacket and pants without any underwear. He looked like he had been dragged on the ground during the forced feeding." -
In Memory of Practitioner Yao Sanzhong
2003-05-03Practitioners were beaten at these prisoners' whim. Such were the conditions in the camp that Yao Sanzhong lived in. He endured constant physical and mental abuse. He eventually passed away under the torture. Yao was someone who believed in "Truthfulness, Compassion and Forbearance." He was a young teacher who dared to speak the truth and was then taken away from his parents, his wife, his young son, his students and his beloved music career. -

2003-05-03Feng Yulin, a drug addict, was about to beat her. When Yang saw him come toward her, she quickly rushed out the door and cried, "Help! They're going to beat me!" The team guard on duty in the courtyard only turned around to take a look, and kept on walking as if nothing had happened. Yang's cries for help reverberated in the quadrangle but got no response. -

2003-05-03Then they kidnapped and detained Falun Gong practitioners in the freezing garage. Meanwhile, the corrupt police ordered a feast for themselves, eating and laughing wildly. He tied her to the steel chair with her head drooped over. He thought she was pretending to be unconscious so he used a rope and tied her head to the chair. -

Handicapped Lawyer Tortured to Death by Cold-Blooded Police
2003-05-02After lunch, the head of each team threatened practitioners saying, "Li Jian is dead. You are prohibited to do anything using his death as an excuse, or you are responsible for the consequence." In the afternoon, Deputy Director Qu from the labour camp announced at a meeting that Li Jian died from a disease. He further threatened, "Whoever makes a fuss because of his death will have his term extended." -
Shandong Province Female Dafa Practitioner is Tortured and Unjustly Sentenced to 12 Years Imprisonment
2003-05-02At the moment, Liu Qingmei is unable to stand up nor is she able to eat, and she is in critical condition. Liu Qingmei told the practitioners who were to be released, "If I die, my death would be caused by police torture. Do not let people be deceived with the lies of 'suicide.'" -
Liaoning Falun Dafa Practitioner Shot in the Leg
2003-05-02Since September 19, the police chief Liu Wangquan and deputy chief Li Shuoguo mobilised all the officers from the police station to search for him. They arrested all the local Falun Gong practitioners, and everyone who was related to Huang was under surveillance. Some practitioners were used as hostages and were detained at the police station for seven days. Only one practitioner escaped. -
Female Falun Dafa Practitioner Persecuted to Death at Hohhot Forced Labour Camp
2003-05-01In January 2003, her family visited her and requested that she be released for medical care. Hohhot Forced Labour Camp denied the request stating, "She will not be released for medical treatment until she signs the guarantee statement. Otherwise the labour camp will not be responsible even if she dies here."
