Ms. Yang Junping from Inner Mongolia Persecuted to Death in 2002

Ms. Yang Junping was a 30-year-old Falun Gong practitioner from Inner Mongolia, with a 12 year old child. After taking up the practice of Falun Gong she recovered from the late-stage cancer she had been suffering from. However due to several detentions her old illnesses recurred. The police demanded 2,000 yuan from her as a condition for her release on medical parole. In order to get her out, the family had to their mortgage their home to pay the police. After Ms. Yang returned home, the police still often harassed and monitored her. In August 2002, she passed away. -
Merciless Persecution Causes Elderly Dafa Practitioner, Ms. Wang Shuhua, to Die of Fatal Disease
2004-04-21Ms. Wang Shuhua was a 58-year-old resident of Tianjin City. Because she persisted in practising Falun Gong and clarifying the truth about Falun Gong, she was arrested on July 20, 2001. While in the detention center, she was mercilessly tortured. This caused her heart disease, which had been cured through the practice of Falun Gong, to recur. She was released 50 days later, but passed away on June 1, 2002 as a result of the persecution she had suffered. -
Beatings, Humiliation and Brainwashing Lead to Death of Hubei Province Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Liu Wenbin
2004-04-21Mr. Liu Wenbin, 54, was an official with the Light Industry Bureau Supply Company of Xiantao City. After having recovered from various diseases since he started practising Falun Gong, he was happy to tell people the benefits he had received, even after the persecution began. Unfortunately he was thus arrested and he lost his job. Criminals beat, insulted him and he endured rigourous brainwashing. When his family came to talk to policeman Zhou Guohuai and explained to him that Liu was very weak. Zhou said, "I'm not afraid of him dying here." Later Liu was released but the police kept harassing him until he passed away. -
The Pre-Sentence Experiences of a Female Engineer in Chengdu City
2004-04-20On September 29th, 2002, Zhang Yanrong was abducted and sent to Pi County Detention Centre. The police did not inform her family members. The week that her case was brought to court, she was subjected to various tortures. She was not allowed to sleep, and several dozen policemen took turns interrogating her, constantly shining glaring lights in her face. She was handcuffed very tightly, and the handcuffs cut deep into her flesh. The police did not allow her to close her eyes, they even yelled, “we will beat you till your brain stops working." -
Practitioner Ms. Zhang Lanfen of Laiyang City Is Unlawfully Held in a Mental Hospital
2004-04-20On January 30, 2000, because Zhang Lanfen participated in a Falun Gong practitioners' experience sharing conference, the local officials illegally put her in the Laiyang City Mental Hospital, where she has suffered inhumane physical torture. The responsible parties forcibly gave her infusions and injections of unknown drugs. She was also forced to take large amounts of medicine orally, sometimes 11 pills at once. Therefore, Ms. Zhang could not sit up or stand steadily, and she often drooled uncontrollably. -
Sun Ke, a Non-Practitioner, is Framed and Sentenced to Forced Labour for Speaking Out Against Injustice to Falun Gong Practitioners
2004-04-20On December 18, 2003, Dehui resident Sun Ke spoke out about the injustice done towards his younger brother, Falun Gong practitioner Sun Qian, who was detained and beaten by police in front of the Dehui City Court. As a consequence of Sun Ke's complaint, the police forged a document to frame him, and he was sentenced to one year of "reeducation" in a forced labour camp. In the labour camp Mr. Sun is suffering harsh injustices. -
Personal Account: Resisting the Persecution in Miaoxi Prison
2004-04-20"I am a Falun Dafa practitioner in Xinjin County, Sichuan Province. In November 2000 I went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Dafa and was illegally sentenced to three years in prison by the authorities in Xinjin, and sent to the Miaoxi Prison in Yaan, Jianyang City, Sichuan Province. In the prison, we suffered all sorts of tortures and humiliation. None of our rights as human beings were respected." -
More Information On Zhao Guoan's Torture Death at Xuchang City's No. 3 Labour Camp

Mr Zhao Guoan, was a 55 year old Dafa practitioner in Luohe City, Henan Province. Because Mr. Zhao kept telling people about Falun Gong, he was sent to Xuchang City No. 3 Labour Camp by the police on August 7, 2003. Four months later, his family was notified by the labour camp that Mr. Zhao had died of a "heart attack." When his wife, Ms. Zhang Guirong, insisted on seeing his body, she was greatly shocked by what she saw. -
Slave Labour in Toxic Conditions Led to Death of Practitioner Zhao Fengyun in Wanjia Forced Labour Camp
2004-04-19On February 27, 2004, fifty year old Ms. Zhao Fengyun, died after enduring long periods of physical and mental torture at Wanjia Forced Labour Camp. Zhao Fengyun was forced to do intensive labour, book printing for a printing factory. She worked from 6 am to 9 or 10 pm. There was a machine, JBE3-50, that emitted a very strong and toxic smell of glue. Under these conditions, Zhao Fengyun suddenly had a heart attack and passed away. -
Police Feign Apologies, Trying to Collect and Destroy Evidence of Their Persecution of Falun Gong in Maoming City
2004-04-19Representatives from the public security bureau and the local police station in Maoming city, Guangdong province went to visit Falun Dafa practitioners who had been persecuted in the town of Aonei. They made apologies, hoping that they would not be prosecuted for their crimes in the future. They said that Dafa practitioners were good and it was a mistake for them to arrest practitioners. They asked the practitioners to hand over any evidence of persecution. If practitioners do so, however, they will have no evidence on hand for future lawsuits that would expose the persecutors' crimes. -
An Undergraduate Student Tortured to Death at the Harbin Prison
2004-04-18According to reliable sources, an undergraduate student of Harbin Industrial University whose name and age are unknown, was tortured to death in Harbin Prison on the morning of April 5, 2004. Because he refused to write statements denouncing Falun Gong, he was put in the confinement cell. The police ordered four criminals to torture him. In order to cover up their crimes, the police carried his corpse to the prison hospital pretending they were giving him emergency treatment. His body was covered with wounds and there was no trace of food in his stomach. -
Steel Factory Worker Abused in Mental Hospital for Upholding His Belief
2004-04-18Mr. Liu's was forced into the Wulumuqi No. 4 Peoples' Hospital (Mental Hospital) by authorities with the Xinjiang Autonomous Government "610 Office". He was forcibly injected with drugs and forced to take pills that damaged his nervous system. Some doctors at the Wulumuqi No. 4 Hospital unconditionally followed the orders from the Police Department and persecuted Dafa practitioners through drug injections and psychological torture. After over three months of treatment, Liu Anhong's nervous system was severely damaged, resulting in lack of facial expression and slow brain activity. -
Jilin Province's Forced Labour Camp Cruelly Tortures Falun Gong Practitioner Mr. Li Baichun
2004-04-18After 31 months of relentless torture and abuse, Jilin Province resident Mr. Li Baichun was let out of a forced labour camp by the police with only 9 yuan in his pocket. He took a bus to his home town but was in such bad shape that he was coughing up blood. Mr. Li took a taxi home to his 12-year-old daughter, who at first did not even recognize him. Even the taxi driver was moved to tears by his plight. -
Cruel Force-Feeding of Dafa Practitioners in Shenzhen City
2004-04-18Two jail doctors started conducting force-feeding on Falun Dafa practitioners who were on a hunger strike. One was male and the other was female, each about 50 years old. They often held up the nasal feeding tube, and threatened practitioners saying: "This nasal feeding tube was used before on patients with AIDS and patients with hepatitis. I don't care if you contract an infectious disease." the male doctor shoved the first practitioner to the ground and pressed him down, put the nasal feeding tube into his stomach, then put the bamboo pipe into his throat, causing excruciating pain. -
Investigative Report on Forced Labour Products Made by Falun Gong Practitioners in China's Labour Camps (Part II)
2004-04-17Forced slavery in labour camps exists under the instigation of Chinese government policies. The establishment of these modern-day concentration camps masquerading as "re-education centres" is in fact in violation of China's own constitution. Camp conditions and procedures are not monitored or inspected, the camps are not required to publicize their activities, nor do they need any defense by attorneys. In fact, these "re-education centres" have become not only instruments of dictatorship but also criminal tools used at will by corrupt officials in China to lure foreign corporations that are uniformed of the true situation into participating in human rights abuses for the sake of profit.
