The scoundrels also shoved an electric baton down the shirt of one practitioner and shocked her back until her entire back down to her legs turned black and blue. 2001-09-28Witnesses state: "On June 7th, practitioner Wang Lanxiang, (female, who was over 60 years old), was being repeatedly shocked with an electric baton the whole afternoon. As she refused to renounce her faith in Falun Gong, the guards lost their senses and decided to use a different baton. This baton was more lethal; it was as thick as a wrist and delivered a higher voltage so as to cause more damage to the victim. They then used this baton on the area of her heart. She died instantly." -

He is not a practitioner and states that his wife also had never practised Falun Gong. -
Late Report: Falun Dafa Practitioner Liu Xuguo Dies from Torture in Jining Labor Camp

Practitioners in the Xiguoyuan Detention Centre Start a Hunger Strike to Mourn Fellow Practitioners
2001-09-21The Xiguoyuan Detention Centre tortured practitioner Liu Lanxiang to death in April 2001 and Zhang Fengyun in August. After Zhang Fengyun's death, the officials tried to block the news from leaking out by cancelling all outdoor activities for the inmates. They even sent meals to individual cells instead of letting the inmates eat together. Still, the terrible news spread from Group 14, where the death took place, to Team 15.
