The "610 Office" from the Qingbaijiang District met with "610 Offices" from the surrounding area and the district government to come up with a new "plan" to force practitioners to give up cultivation. They talk with the practitioners, and then if the practitioner still insists on practising Falun Gong, he will be asked to report to the "610 Office" and the local police department. -

Jixi City Labour Camp Beat Up Dafa Practitioners in Vicious Frenzy
2003-07-06The jail guards gathered around 40-50 people and rushed into practitioners' cells with electric batons and ropes. They beat up practitioners and removed Gong Chengge, Jiang Hongfu, Shi Zhenwei and Zhao Bing from their cells and beat them even more ferociously. One person's toes were smashed and his entire body was covered with bruises and wounds. Afterward, these practitioners were sent to the criminals' cells to be isolated and continuously persecuted. -

Torture Death of Female Dafa Practitioner in the Da'an City Detention Centre
2003-07-05She was forced to work more than 15 hours daily. Because she was exceptionally healthy, the guards forced her to do heavy manual labour. In late December 2002, she was picked up by people from Da'an City Police Department and was given another heavy sentence. After six months of incarceration at Da'an City Detention Centre, on June 10, 2003, her family received a notice of her death. -

2003-07-05Zhou Xuefei, wife of Atlanta practitioner Lu Zhaohui, is being detained at the Sanshui Female Labour Camp. Xuefei is being forced to do long hours of intense labour, and make embroidery products for exportation. Because of being inhumanly tortured for the past two years, she has become nearly blind. Her family's request to bail her out for medical treatment was rejected. Now her life is in great danger. -
Elderly Woman Dies from Trauma of Her Son and Daughter-In-Law Being Sent to Forced Labour Camps
2003-07-05The policemen at his local police station followed him to Heilongjiang Province, abducted him, and sent him to forced labour education at the Xidayingzi Forced Labour Camp of Chaoyang. Ms. Meng was left at home with her older son, who has dementia, and her grandson. She cooks and works in the farm field. Under such mental and physical trauma, the elderly woman became bedridden with illness, but there was no one to take care of her. She died before she could see her son and daughter-in-law again. -

2003-07-05There was blood and wounds all over their bodies. One of Li Min's ribs was broken, and he could not move or sleep for many days afterward. When Li recovered a little, the guards ordered the inmates to watch him and allow him to sleep only three hours every day, that is, from 12:00 am to 3:00 am. By 3:00 am, Li was forced to sit on the floor. He was also forced to do hard labour. -

2003-07-04On the evening of May 13, in a room at the detention centre, the police ordered two female inmates to strip off all of Wei's clothes. She cried out, "You have no right to treat me this way!" Then, a uniformed policeman entered, pushed Wei to the ground and raped her in front of the two other inmates. Wei Xingyan sternly warned the policeman, "I have noted your police badge number. You won't get away with this." After the assault, Wei started a hunger strike to protest. The police conducted force-feedings, injuring her trachea and oesophagus, which left her unable to speak. -

His children were persecuted one after another because they also practised Falun Gong. Mr. Hao was forced to work at odd jobs in order to survive. After staying at a number of places, he settled on a farm in Inner Mongolia, and died in Karichu Village, Yili Township of Inner Mongolia.
