Some Details Surrounding the Death of Yang Xiaojie, Who Died from the Torture Suffered in Hebei Province Fourth Prison

Mr Yang Xiaojie had practised Falun Dafa for many years. He had benefited both physically and spiritually. Knowing that Falun Dafa does not harm any person or country, he decided to step forth to say a fair word so that more people would know the truth about the persecution. However, he consequently was sentenced to eleven years in prison. In prison, police used all means trying to force him to give up his belief, conscience, and basic principles as a human being. Yang Xiaojie went on a hunger strike to protest the injustice. Prison officials force-fed them with milk mixed with a high concentration of salt. Yang Xiaojie had stomach bleeding and vomited blood. Although he was hospitalised, Yang Xiaojie passed away in January 2006. -

Kong Fansun, a director of "Legal System Education and Training Centre" in Hebei Province, said to practitioners who were "reformed" that, "Practitioners who can torture and scold others are really transformed." "Reformed" people have to show that they value lying, betrayal, cruelty and inhumanity to certify their absolute betrayal of "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance." That procedure of "reform" actually reforms a person into a ghost. To those people who have dignity, the "reform" is killing their spirits. They suffer much more than physical death. -
The Seven Year Long Tragedy and Suffering of My Family
2006-05-20The persecution my husband suffered was just brutal. They began at the knees, whipping upward until they reached the neck and shoulders. Belt buckles were used to beat my husband's back. He was soaked in blood and sweat and his flesh was raw. The pain was unimaginable. Then they asked, "Do you still say you cultivate?" My husband answered "yes." Then, they continued to beat him brutally. My husband's entire back, buttocks, and thighs were one bloody mess. All flesh was exposed, and his entire body was covered with blood. The prisoner kicked my husband's left side very hard and his rib broke. The pain had passed the level he could tolerate. He had no other choice left and against his will, he said in a low voice, "Will not cultivate." -
Jiang Zemin's Visit to Rongcheng City Sparks Increased Abuse of Local Practitioners
2006-05-20On the morning of May 8th, 2006, Jiang Zemin, former leader of China and instigator of the persecution, visited the Xixiakou Corporation in Chengshan Town. The Xixiakou Corporation CEO requested the local policemen to arrest and mistreat Falun Dafa practitioners. At 5:00 p.m. on May 7th two security guards were placed at each Falun Dafa practitioner's home, and no one was allowed to leave. At around 8:00 a.m. on May 8th policemen and security guards stormed into the homes of Falun Dafa practitioners. They tried to deceive the practitioners to go out on a tour, and then lied again and said they wanted to take the practitioners to harvest vegetables on Heilu Island. If practitioners refused to go with them, they would drag and force them. -
Falun Gong Practitioners at the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp Enslaved and Tortured by Brigade Captain Zhao Shuang
2006-05-20I was detained in the Fifth Brigade of the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp on February 17th, 2004. While I was performing forced labour, an instructor waved a piece of paper in front of me, saying, "the "guarantee letter" you wrote isn't right." Taking a quick look at it, I replied, "If it's no good, why don't you tear it up?" The instructor used two electric batons to shock me until the batteries went dead. There were black spots and blisters all over my body, from my neck to my thighs. Then, accompanied by the sound of their laughter, Zhao Shuang pinched my testicles through a plastic bag, causing me unbearable pain. -
Ms. Chen Pingzhen Murdered in Heilongjiang Province; Local Police Refuse to Investigate
2006-05-20On February 12th, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Ms. Chen Pingzhen disappeared after celebrating at a relative's birthday party. The next day, her family members searched everywhere but found no trace of her. On the afternoon of February 14th, Ms. Chen's second son, Liu Zhenchen, a deputy chief at the Hedong Police Station, saw a public notice: "Unknown female body found. Identification needed (photo of the deceased attached)." It had been issued by the Hegang City Public Security Bureau. He recognised his mother in the picture and there was no doubt in his mind that his mother had been murdered. -
Five Practitioners Persecuted to Death in Jilin, Hubei and Heilongjiang Provinces
2006-05-20Ms. Qiu Yunzhi was 52 years old. After she began practising Falun Dafa, her physical and mental health greatly improved and her diseases healed miraculously. In a visit to the Appeals Office in Beijing in March 2003, Ms. Qiu was arrested by the police halfway through her trip. She was sent to her hometown and held the Dehui City Detention Centre for 16 days. She was also extorted out of 2,700 yuan. Thereafter, she suffered constant harassment, threats, and house break-ins by 610 Office agents. Under great pressure, she suffered a mental breakdown and was mentally disordered for the past five years. Finally, on March 21st, 2003, she died. -
Falun Dafa Practitioner Mr. Yang Jianpo Unjustly Sentenced to Six Years in Prison and Taken to Detention Centre (Photo)
2006-05-19On April 25th, 2006, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Yang Jianpo was sentenced to six years in prison at the Guangyang District People's Hospital. There was no trial and his family was not notified. The lawless officials announced the "verdict" in front of his sickbed at the hospital. Later, Yang Jianpo's family went to the city government offices, but the officials refused to meet with them. One official even threatened, "You'll get arrested no matter where you go to appeal. We'll arrest you right now if you don't leave right away!" -
School Teacher Ms Xiong Xiulian Again Arrested and Persecuted
2006-05-19On the morning of April 10th, 2006, Ms. Xiong Xiulian, a schoolteacher was arrested while teaching a class and detained in a brainwashing centre. Because of her firm belief in "Truthfulness, Compassion, Forbearance," this popular and honoured teacher has been persecuted and tortured for many years. Police officers beat her with steel whips, fists, heels, and handcuffed her. They also inhumanely force-fed her, and left an iron ladle in her mouth to suppress her tongue. It is difficult to imagine how much pain she suffered. -
Langfang 610 Office Continues Persecuting Dafa Practitioner Yang Jianpo
2006-05-19On February 5th, 2006, practitioner Yang Jianpo went with the family of practitioner Wang Shaoqiu (who is detained and tortured) to appeal at Xianghe County Public Security Bureau. Yang Jianpo was arrested along the way. The vicious perpetrators sent Yang to a variety of forced labour camps and prisons in Hebei Province to be tortured. Yang Jianpo held a hunger strike for the entire time. In March the 610 Office sent him to Langfang City People's Hospital. To block the truth, they threatened the hospital officials into keeping the treatment secret and not notifying the practitioner's family. During the day they force-fed and performed intravenous infusions on him, and at night they took him back to the detention centre. -

When Falun Gong was slandered, 30-year-old Mr Wu Chunlong went to Beijing to appeal. For this he was brutally tortured. Mr. Wu was forced to sit on a "tiger bench" for seven days, and later he was injected with an unknown drug. He fainted on and off a few days later, became incontinent. A week later he lost all feeling from his lower back to his knees. He was nothing but skin and bones. Wu was released, yet on August 20th, 2005, he passed away. -
Torture Causes Mental Collapse of Qingdao City Practitioner Mr. Shao Qiang
2006-05-19In December 2000, Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Shao Qiang from Qingdao City, Shandong Province, went to Beijing to appeal for Dafa. He unfurled a 99-metre (325 foot) banner in Tiananmen Square and was later sentenced to 10 years in prison. He is now being held at the Shandong Province Prison. After he was detained, police beat him to the point of unconsciousness several times. After one particularly brutal beating he sustained a skull fracture. He could not remember anything and later suffered a sudden mental collapse. -
Several Practitioners Die Due to Harassment, Intimidation and Persecution by the Xishan Coal and Electricity Group
2006-05-18Mr. Liu Mingzhong was an employee of Xishan Coal and Electricity Group. In late 2000, he went to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. After he was returned to his home area, he was detained at the Taiyuan Xindian Forced Labour Camp. While in detention, he was stripped of his clothes and had cold water poured all over his body. He was forced to lie on the ground, and the police splashed water on him using a broom used to sweep the bathroom. Mr. Liu was tortured to the point of dying. Only then was he released on medical parole. He passed away in August 2005, at the age of 68. -
Further Information Regarding How Older Dafa Practitioner Ms Li Fengqin Was Persecuted to Death
2006-05-18Dafa practitioner Ms. Li Fengqin, 54 years old, was a very compassionate and benevolent person. On October 11th, 2005, Li Fengqin and eleven other practitioners were arrested and the police tortured her with brutal kicks. After being thrown into a car, at the detention centre, Li Fengqin constantly cried out in pain. Guards force-fed her. Li Fengqin said, "I am going to die if you force-feed me anymore. I vomited everything that you poured into me the last time." She became emaciated and passed away. -
Eight Guards Electric Baton-Shock Practitioner for Several Hours in Shuangkou Forced Labour Camp
2006-05-18The guards in the second ward have used electric batons to shock practitioners. They tortured Mr. Li Wenming by shocking him with electric batons on March 13th, March 16th, April 10th, and April 11th, 2006. Each session lasted two hours, and there were as many as eight guards shocking him simultaneously. Mr. Li Wenming was dying after this cruel torture.
