Zhang Jingman, female, is from Lingshan, Guangxi Province. She was arrested and sent to the First Female Labour Camp in Guangxi Province. The police team leaders Liang Suzhen and Lu Dengyun instigated the inmates to torture her. The prisoners always beat and kicked her. They frequently hung her up, forced her to squat down for long periods of time, exposed her to the burning sun for long periods of time, filled her mouth with dirty rags and bound her hands and feet. She was not allowed to take a shower or sleep for extended periods of time. After such torture her breathing became laboured as a person on the verge of death. Fearing the blame for her death, the police moved her out of the labour camp. However, once she recovered a little, the police arrested and tortured her again in the camp. After being in and out of the camp three times, she had wasted away to a mere 45 pounds; this is in contrast to the 110 pounds she weighed before she was arrested.

Meng Gui, female, is from Lingshan, Guangxi Province. In June 2000, she was arrested and sent to the First Female Labour Camp in Guangxi Province. Acting on the instigation of the police team leader Liang Suzhen and Lu Dengyun, the prisoners abused Meng Gui physically and mentally. They didn't allow her to take a shower or to sleep, and exposed her to the scorching sun for a long time. The drug addict prisoners beat and kicked her at every opportunity. She was placed in solitary confinement on different occasions. Because she had been bound and forced to stand or squat for long periods of time, her arms and legs became disabled, and she was on the verge of death. Refusing to be held responsible for the serious consequences of their actions, the police kicked her out of the labour camp.

So far another two or three hundred Falun Dafa practitioners are suffering the same torture. During this long-term persecution, many of the practitioners there have gone on hunger strike to protest the inhumane atrocities in the female labour camp. Some of the practitioners have been on a hunger strike for over two months and their lives are in danger. We are urgently calling for worldwide help and support to end this evil persecution.
