Large Scale Tragedy of Cruel Torture Towards Dafa Disciples Recurs in the Wanjia Labour Camp, Harbin City

Editor's note: The principles of Falun Dafa prohibit suicide, and cultivators cherish their lives under any situation, however humiliating or painful it may be. The Dafa practitioners reported in this article did not conduct themselves strictly according to Falun Dafa's requirement for cultivators, yet this entire tragedy was brought upon them by the lawless police's brutal torture at the Wanjia Labour Camp. The vicious police relentlessly tortured the Falun Dafa disciples and made their life a living hell. These inhuman police will certainly receive severe punishment from the law as well as retribution for "as you sow, so you shall reap" for driving innocent people to take such extreme actions.

We hope more people will help expose and stop the evil occurring at the Wanjia Labour Camp, and we also hope that local Dafa practitioners will diligently study the teachings together and create an environment in which they can exchange experiences from the perspective of Falun Dafa; they should also strengthen their righteous thoughts, support, remind and encourage each other to together walk through this arduous path.

According to reliable internal news from the labour camp and the legal system, recently, in order to raise the "reform rate" and obtain benefits for themselves, lawless authorities at the Wanjia Labour Camp continuously applied brutal torture to Dafa practitioners in extremely cruel and malicious ways. After the exposure of the "Wanjia disaster" by the international media last year, the brutal authorities at this labour camp continuously heightened their persecution of Dafa disciples instead of restraining their criminal actions. They even sent personnel from inside the legal system and other labour camps and jails to the Wanjia Labour Camp to participate in the criminal deeds of persecuting Dafa practitioners.

According to a reliable news source, ever since September 2002, the authorities brutal torture has caused several Dafa disciples to commit suicide by jumping off a building or cutting open their veins. In order to block the news, the Wanjia Labour Camp has barred Dafa practitioners' family members from visiting.

It was learned that six disciples were pressured from the brutal torture and severe environment into cutting open their veins while some others jumped off a building. The details are pending further investigation.

Zhang Bo is a former chief of Division 12, female, 32 years old. She has become the chief of Division 7, which is now called the training team.

Wu Jinying is former chief of Division 7, female, 47 years old. She is no longer the chief of Division 7, and her whereabouts are unknown. The current chief of Division 7 is Guo.
