Persecution Cases of Falun Dafa Practitioners in Hebei Province

In late December 2000, two practitioners from Dakanxia village, Hebei Province; Yin Shuying and Yin Xiuqin went to Beijing to appeal. The Bailong County government officials and "610 Office" (an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.) arrested them and sent them to the county detention centre. There, Shuying and Xuyqin continued to practice cultivation while the detention centre. The guards beat them whenever they wished. In March 2001, the Bailong County government officials tricked them, saying that they were being released. Instead, the officials kidnapped them and sent them to the brainwashing class in Dongma County, Mancheng City. There, because they resisted the unreasonable requests (like writing the guarantee letters to not practice) from the evil side, they were severely beaten by a group of people headed by County Administration and Legislation Secretary.

After that, the practitioners could not get out of their beds for several days.

Wei Haiwu (husband) and Yin Fengqin (wife) from Dakanxia village were arrested and taken from their home just because they practice Falun Gong. A police officer beat Yin Fengqin so hard that her face was severely swollen. Later, Yin was sent to Balizhuang Labour Camp in, Hebei Province. She has been very strong willed and remains true to her belief. Now she is under strict guard and her family is not allowed to visit her. Wei Haiwu passed out several times due to repeated beating by the Mancheng City Public Security Bureau, police and detention centre guards. Later, he was illegally sentenced to Balizhuang Forced Labour Camp. Even their relatives are not exempt from the persecution; their son and daughter are left to the care of their relatives and government officials and police also extort their families out of money.

Practitioner Gao Yuzen (female, 47 years old) is a kindergarten teacher from Hebei Province. During the 2001, May 1 holiday period (May 1 is labour day in China) she went to appeal in Beijing where she was arrested and taken back to the county. Later she was sentenced to one year in Balizhuang Forced Labour Camp. She is very firm in her belief in Dafa while in the labour camp. When her term expired in early July 2002, she was supposed to be released unconditionally. However, the "610 Office"together with the county's Education Bureau took her to the brainwashing class in Hebei Province, and continued to persecute her there. Now she is in very poor physical condition. We ask kind-hearted people to pay attention to this.
