On October 31st, Domestic security police officers from An County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, arrested Ms. Li Xiuying because she talked to her relatives about Falun Gong. Ms. Li was sent to the Nanmusi Forced Labour Camp in Zizhong, Sichuan Province. The guards have not only prevented her attorney from visiting her, but have also not allowed visits from relatives. Her relatives are very worried about her.

Ms. Li's family has reason to worry. To date, 14 Falun Gong practitioners have died as a result of being persecuted in Nanmusi Forced Labour Camp, including Ms. Zheng Youmei, Ms. Zhu Yinfang, Ms. Luo Junling, and Ms. Li Yangfang. Ms. Li is being tortured in a den of monsters. How can her family not worry about her, especially since the camp will not allow them to visit? Her family worries the worst might happen.

Ms. Li's husband and mother-in-law went to the forced labour camp to request a visit on December 21st. Because it was lunchtime, they were told to wait until 2:30 p.m. In the afternoon, Ms. Li's family and other relatives went into the meeting room. Qin Wenxia (female) noted that other relatives were accompanying Ms. Li's husband and mother-in-law, and immediately stopped them. She said that it was too many people for a visit. She told Ms. Li's family and relatives to get the visit approved by the 610 Office (an organisation of special agents just for persecuting Falun Gong). Ms. Li's family and relatives said that they had brought their identification cards. However, Qin Wenxia still didn't allow them to visit Ms. Li.

Ms. Li's family and relatives informed Qin that Ms. Li once suffered a heart attack, and the labour camp would be held responsible if anything unforeseen occurred. Ms. Li's mother-in-law, nephew, and sisters told guard Wang Qianyi that when Ms. Li had her heart attack, at the moment between life and death, she thought of what one of her friends told her, “Falun Gong is good! Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is good.” She recited those very sentences and then she survived. Finally, Ms. Li's family and relatives asked if only Ms. Li's mother-in-law could be allowed to visit her. Qin still refused to allow a visit.

Ms. Li's family and relatives asked an attorney to sue Lin Yong and Zhou Bin from the An County Police Department, who arrested Ms. Li and sent her to the forced labour camp. And they asked for Ms. Li's release. The attorney went to visit Ms. Li twice, but did not see her because the guards made it difficult. This time, Ms. Li's family and relatives were not allowed to visit her. They ended up having to ask guard Wang Qianyi to give the relevant legal authorisation letter to Ms. Li and get her signature.
