Officials from Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp, Changchun City, Jinlin Province, Persecute Falun Gong Practitioners with Drugs

Since 1999, the Chinese Communist Party has used drugs as one of the most insidious means to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners have been given a great number of forced drug injections that damage the central nervous system, causing them to become disoriented or even to even lose their speech within a few hours.

Below is a statement from a practitioner who was once imprisoned in Heizuizi Forced Labour Camp in Changchu City, Jilin Province, and witnessed this type of persecution.

My name is Xiaoping (pseudonym). I was imprisoned in the No. 7 Division of the Heizuizi Women's Forced Labour Camp in Changchu City in 2004 because I told the authorities that Falun Gong is good. I was given a complete physical examination at the Jilin Province Public Security Hospital. This was done to all the practitioners in the forced labour camp. The doctors carefully examined each practitioner, and a tube of a sample of their blood was affixed with a number. A warden said, "This physical examination is only for Falun Gong practitioners, not for the other inmates, and no practitioner can be left out this time." Later I learned that the Chinese Communist Party was harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners.

In July 2004, I witnessed guard Wang Lihua from Section 3 of the No. 7 Division take practitioner Ms. Zhao Jinling away. Two hours later when Ms. Zhao was brought back, her eyes looked very dull and teary. She couldn't talk, she drooled uncontrollably, and her limbs were numb. She lost her awareness and didn't realize that she should wear clothes. After she went to the toilet, she didn't know that she should pull her trousers up. Ms. Zhao, 21, was a quiet, beautiful girl. But it only took two hours for the officials in the forced labour camp to put Ms. Zhao into such a horrible condition just because she firmly believed in Falun Gong.

Two other practitioners, Ms. Li Wei and Ms. Liu Wenwen, also ended up in the same dreadful state as Ms. Zhao. Both of them were in their 20s. Ms. Li Wei was handcuffed to a metal bed every night. A completely normal person was persecuted to the point of being unable to understand what other people said to her and unable to talk either.

Ms. Zhang Shuhua, a tall and strong practitioner, was taken away by the guard. About 30 minutes later, a voice proclaiming "Falun Gong is good" suddenly could be heard from downstairs. We rushed to the window, and when we looked down, we saw Ms. Zhang running out from the first floor of the hospital followed by four or five guards. Ms. Zhang ran back to us and said, "Four (or five) guards held me to force-feed me drugs. My teeth have been pried out." We saw the blood on Ms. Zhang's face and also her trousers.

Since then, six years have passed. I do not know the current situation or condition of these young practitioners.
