Practitioner Xiao Jinsong Savagely Tortured in the Labour Camp Before He Died

Practitioner Xiao Jinsong from Jilin City had been imprisoned in the Huanxiling Forced Labour Camp in Jilin City and the Yinmahe Forced Labour Camp in Jiutai. Because he would not give up his belief of Falun Dafa and went on a hunger strike to protest the mistreatment, Xiao Jinsong was subjected to brutal torture by guards in the Forced Labour Camps until he was on the edge of death. He died from the torture on February 24, 2002. Before he passed away, Xiao Jinsong told his family that many guards ganged up on him. They hit him and shocked him with electric batons. The blows of the batons rained down on his body rapidly and heavily.

From an eyewitness account, when Xiao Jinsong’s wife came to the hospital, he was in a coma, eyes were sunk in, he was very skinny, and his stomach and the upper part of his thighs were terribly swollen. His family had to get help to eventually have the hospital keep him, though they did it reluctantly. After being hospitalized for ten days, his situation showed no sign of recovery even though the family had spent almost ten thousand Yuan. Having no other option, his family had to take him home on January 18, 2002. Xiao passed away one month and six days later after having suffered terrible torture in the labour camps.
