On April 6th 2006, Falun Gong practitioners were invited to a school in Gavle to introduce Falun Gong and talk about the seven-year brutal persecution of the practice. Gavle is the capital city of a province in eastern Sweden. During the event, the practitioners highlighted the newly exposed atrocities of the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) labour camps, where the regime harvests organs from living practitioners and cremates their bodies to destroy evidence.

The practitioners prepared leaflets and delicate paper lotus flowers to give to the students and teachers. Next to the Falun Gong booth, two practitioners continuously demonstrated the five sets of exercises. The beautiful exercise music and graceful movements attracted many students. When they learned about the persecution in China, especially the organ harvesting atrocities in the labour camps, they were shocked and could not believe that such inhumane crimes could happen in this modern age.

"Are these true?" Many found the atrocities hard to believe and asked questions.

"Yes, it is happening now in China," practitioners replied. "Moreover, reportedly the Sujiatun Concentration Camp has detained more than 6,000 practitioners. The regime harvests organs including kidneys, livers and corneas from them and then cremates their bodies, some while they are still alive. There are at least 36 concentration camps of this kind."

Upon learning the truth, many students and teachers signed the practitioners' petition calling for action to stop the persecution, and expressed their support and goodwill.

A young man from Africa looked at the photo display attentively. He asked for all of the leaflets and signed the petition. Sitting on a couch opposite the practitioners' booth, he watched the exercise demonstration and waved to the practitioners now and then with smile.
