Four Practitioners from Jilin, Henan, and Hubei Provinces Die as a Result of Persecution

Mr. Zhang Xiangguo was from Changchun City, Jilin Province. He was mistreated many times after July 20, 1999, when the persecution began. In 2001, he was arrested and taken to a Brainwashing Class. There he was abused, both mentally and physically. Due to a stroke and high blood pressure, he was released, but local police and the 610 Office (1) continued to harass him at home, forcing him to become homeless in order to avoid being arrested. He died on April 21, 2005.

Mr. Zhu Tianpeng , 60, lived in Xuchang City, Henan Province. He started practising Falun Dafa in 1997, and became illness-free very soon afterwards. After July 20, 1999, his family members appealed for Falun Dafa many times by distributing leaflets exposing the persecution, and were arrested by police. He was threatened and harassed many times by lawless officials. He was seriously injured, and died on February 3, 2005.

Falun Dafa practitioner Mr. Feng Guizhang, who was in his 50s, lived in Pingdingshan City, Henan Province. After the persecution started in 1999, he was harassed and threatened by his employer and the neighbourhood administration. He could not cultivate in a normal environment, and died in November, 2003.

Mr. Chu Xunsheng, 55, lived in Wuhan City, Hubei Province. He learned Falun Dafa in 1993, and went to Beijing to appeal in 2001. He was detained for 20 months, and soon after his release, was again arrested and taken to a brainwashing class. Both events damaged his body and he constantly suffered. He died on April 6, 2005.

(1) "The 610 office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.
