Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest against Bo Xilai in the Royal Plaza
By a Swedish practitioner Regarding Chinese Commerce Minister Bo Xilai’s visit to Sweden, Falun Gong practitioners held a press conference in a park on September 14th to inform the media, government and Royal Family that Bo Xilai committed crimes of murder and torture as part of the persecution of Falun Gong when he was the mayor of Dalian and governor of Liaoning Province. On the morning of September 15th, practitioners conducted a protest in the Royal Plaza while submitting an indictment to the Swedish Police.
The practitioners’ banners worded “Bring Bo Xilai to Justice” in Swedish and Chinese, and “Heaven will destroy the CCP” in Chinese. When Bo Xilai’s motorcade passed by slowly, practitioners spoke loudly, “Stop persecuting Falun Gong”. The practitioners saw he had an uneasy expression on his face. Later, practitioners handed over a copy of the indictment charging Bo to the Prime Minister of Sweden, the Ministry of Commerce and the Royal Office. The Swedish media such as SVT interviewed practitioners. A reporter took photos of the banners, but could not understand the meaning of “Heaven will destroy the CCP” in Chinese. He left smiling after hearing practitioners’ explanation. After the completion of the protest in the Royal Plaza, the practitioners held a re-enactment to expose the CCP crime of live organ removal in a busy area called Mynttorget, where many tourists visit. We also distributed the Nine Commentaries and related flyers. The CCP crime of live organ removal was beyond people’s imagination. Kind hearted people find it hard to accept the fact. Some people helped to distribute the flyers. Many people came to ask how to help those practitioners being persecuted in China. The practitioners distributing flyers said, “We are exposing the CCP crimes to the whole world. Help us to expose the CCP crimes and spread the news of the withdrawal from the CCP to your colleagues and friends. Ask them to sign the petition online.” Those who were aware of the CCP’s crimes said, “We support you!”, “Good luck!” |
