On the weekend of 28th and 29th of May, Romanian Falun Gong practitioners went to Suceava city to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness of the human rights abuses influicted on practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party. They handed out leaflets about Falun Gong to tourists in the park and allowed more people to get to know that the world needs “Truthfulness Compassion and Forbearance”.
The tourists carefully viewed the pictures and writted explanations of the torture methods used by the Chinese Communist Party to persecute Falun Gong practitioners in China. Two elderly women said with deep feelings, "What the evil Chinese Communist Party has done is the same as what Ceausescu, the former dictator of the Romanian Communist Party, did in order to hold on to power. They do not allow any different voices; they simply deprive people of their freedom of speech." She gave an example and explained that, “in the past, there was a third telephone line to secretly monitor the conversations between families. Whoever uttered unusual remarks could be reported to the higher authorities, which made everyone extremely scared."
