Germany: Falun Gong Information Day in Berlin

On Saturday May 14th 2005, Falun Gong practitioners from northern and central Germany set up an information stand in Alexander Square. As part of a sports festival, many people had arrived from different regions and everybody was happy to meet up with old friends. In this way, we had the chance to talk to people of various backgrounds and different interests.

In the midst of the colourless and even derelict surroundings of Alexander Square, which used to be the heart of the communist East Germany, yellow Falun Gong banners glowed like beacons. The passers-by quickly found out how the Chinese Communist Party uses its political power to commit unspeakable crimes against its own peaceful and kind citizens because they practise Falun Gong.
