  • United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) News Brief: Chinese Asylum Seeker and Her 8-Year-Old Daughter forcibly Deported From Russia

    According to credible information received by UNHCR, a Chinese asylum seeker and her 8 year-old daughter were taken by the Russian authorities from their St. Petersburg residence last Wednesday (March 28th) and put on a plane departing to China via Novosibirsk. The woman and her daughter had submitted a claim for asylum in accordance with the Russian Federation Law on Refugees. Their appeal against a first negative decision was scheduled to be considered by the Dzerzhinky District court in St. Petersburg yesterday afternoon.
  • Germany: MPs Submit a Resolution Condemning the CCP for Using 'Re-Education Through Forced Labour' to Brainwash its People

    According to a report by Deutsche Welle (DW) on March 15th, 2006, German MPs from the Christian Democratic Union (CDU), the Free Democratic Party (FDP), and the Green’s Party have jointly submitted a resolution to the Federal Parliament condemning the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) system of forced labour education. Based on a report by Florian Toncar, spokesman for the FDP and member of the Human Rights and Humanitarian Aid Committee, stating that all parliamentary parties had reached a unanimous agreement and that in early May the parliament will have voted to pass the severely critical resolution.
  • United Kingdom: Liang Wenjian and Husband Illegally Detained by the CCP

    Liang Wenjian and her husband have been illegally sentenced to two years in a forced labour camp by the Public Security Bureau in Guangzhou City. Before this, their family members were neither officially informed or allowed to see them. They had no idea where the couple were locked up. As soon as she heard the information, Jane Liang, Liang Wenjian’s sister, a British citizen, sent a letter to the UK government .
  • The Latvian Clear Harmony Website is Officially Launched

    The Latvian Clear Harmony website is one of the 18 language versions of the European Falun Dafa website. It is published voluntarily by Falun Gong practitioners. The aim is to reveal the facts about Falun Gong, to give readers first hand information about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China and to display the voices of support for Falun Gong.
  • Minghui School Established in Germany

    A Minghui Elementary School was established and held from December 27th to 29th, 2006, in the city of Wetzlar. Students went to the school every day, where they studied the main text of Falun Dafa, Zhuan Falun, practised the Falun Gong exercises, learned how to paint the Falun emblem, practised a fairy dance and sang songs together.

    The Turkish Clear Harmony website, launched on January 1st 2007, is one of the 16 language-versions of the European Falun Dafa website. We hope the Turkish Clear Harmony website can help the Turkish people get a clearer and broader view on what Falun Gong is as well as the truth behind the ongoing persecution in China.
  • Motion Put Forward by the Irish Senate

    ''That the Senate of Ireland appalled by the abuse of Falun Gong practitioners being perpetrated by the Chinese Government and the Chinese Communist Party, urges the Irish Government to express its revulsion at these atrocities and demands that the Irish Government seeks to have them fully investigated by the appropriate international bodies and that our concerns be brought to the immediate attention of the Chinese Ambassador to Ireland and the Chinese Government.'
  • Ukraine: Practitioners File Lawsuit Against Top CCP Official Jia Qinglin

    On October 31st 2006, Falun Gong practitioners filed a lawsuit against top CCP official Jia Qinglin in the Ukraine Supreme Court for his crimes of genocide, torture, and active participation in the persecution of Falun Gong in China. The lawsuit was filed by a practitioner from China while Jia was visiting Ukraine.
  • Germany: 'Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party' Picture Exhibition at a Tourist Attraction

    On September 9th, 2006, volunteers from the German Centre for Quitting the CCP held a Nine Commentaries (an editorial published by The Epoch Times newspaper) picture exhibition in Bayreuth. The pictures focus on the CCP persecuting the Chinese people during different political movements.
  • Sweden: Practitioners File Criminal Complaint Against Chinese Minister of Commerce

    The Swedish Falun Dafa Association filed a criminal complaint against Chinese Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai during his visit to Sweden on September 15th. The complaint accused him of the murder, torture and abduction of Falun Gong practitioners in China, in accordance to Swedish national laws and the United Nation Convention against torture.
  • European Parliament Passes Resolution Calling for Release of Bu Dongwei and Gao Zhisheng

    On September the 7th 2006, the European Parliament unanimously passed a resolution for a report of the EU-China relations, calling on the Chinese regime to release Falun Gong practitioner Bu Dongwei, lawyer Gao Zhisheng and other human rights defenders. The resolution was initiated by Charles Tannock MEP, Edward McMillan-Scott MEP and Simon Coveney MEP.
  • Bo Xilai Faces Lawsuit before EU-China Summit in Finland

    In the morning of September 8th, a representative of the Finland Falun Dafa Association delivered a letter and other related documents to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Office of the Prime Minister, requesting the Finnish government to ban Bo Xilai from entering the country. Bo is directly responsible for carrying out the persecution of Falun Gong. A press conference was then held to announce that the association will file a lawsuit against Bo Xilai for torture based on the Finnish criminal code. A representative of Falun Gong practitioners said, "It is unacceptable that criminals like Bo Xilai who have persecuted so many people are still at large."
  • Ireland: Irish Practitioners Congratulate the Establishment of the Ethiopian Falun Gong Association

  • Germany: Important Public Announcement on Seventh Year of the Persecution of Falun Gong

    Mr. David Kilgour, the former Canadian Secretary of State, responsible for the Asian and Pacific region, gave a speech emphasised the importance of an end to the persecution. Mr. Kilgour and the Canadian human rights attorney David Matas committed to begin an investigation in China since the day the organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners was made known.
  • France: CCP Minister of Public Security is Sued in France

    Three Falun Gong practitioners are suing Zhou Yongkang, the CCP regime’s Minister of Public Security and State Council Member of China. The complaint alleges that Zhou Yongkang has the direct responsibility for the crimes of torture against Falun Gong practitioners in China. Falun Gong practitioners’ lawsuit gives a warning to those people who are still persecuting Falun Gong: Stop doing evil, be responsible for your own future.
