  • Sweden: Documentary Exposing the Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners by the CCP Broadcast on Swedish TV

    Beyond the Red Wall is a documentary produced by the Canadian film director Peter Rowe. It was first broadcast by the Canadian National Broadcasting TV Company (CBC) on November 20th, 2007. The broadcast at that time was not smooth sailing. The originally arranged broadcast time was set on the 6th November, due to the pressure from the Chinese Embassy in Canada, CBC suddenly changed to another programme.

  • Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Raise Awareness in the Open Market Exhibition

    On June 4th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners took part in a large open air market exhibition organised by the local government in Rebro city centre. Falun Gong practitioners set up a beautiful booth, demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises, disclosed to the public the truth about the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and collected signatures to call for an end to the persecution.

    On May 31st, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners held a day of activities to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong at rue de l’hopital in the centre of Neuchatel in Switzerland. Situated near the largest lake in Switzerland, lac de Neuchatel, the northern city of Neuchatel is a city reminiscent of medieval times.

    On May 30th, 2008, at the Chinese Embassy in Brussels, Falun Gong practitioners held a protest condemning the CCP for making a false charge against Falun Gong practitioners and harassing the Service Centre for Quitting the CCP in Flushing, New York. Ms Janniek from Ghent said, “We are one body with Falun Gong practitioners in New York".

    On May 31st, 2008, the Spanish 'Quitting the CCP Service Centre' and the Falun Gong Association held a rally in Madrid's Phoenix Square to condemn the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong and express support for the 37 million withdrawals from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Though it had been raining for quite a few days in Madrid, the popular Phoenix Square it was still bustling and noisy.

    On May 17th, 2008, in front of St. Michael's Church in central Munich, Falun Gong practitioners put up display boards to expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of the Chinese people throughout history. Practitioners also held an art exhibition that depicted the brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners.

Recently, German people have expressed particular concern for China's human rights issues and were talking about this at the exhibition table.
  • Holland: Dutch Falun Gong Practitioners Hold a Demonstration in the City of Assen

    On May 17th, 2008, Dutch Falun Gong practitioners held a demonstration in the city of Assen to protest against the on-going persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. Signatures were gathered for the ‘Millions of signatures’ petition campaign, demanding the Chinese communist regime to immediately stop its persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in China. After having seen the banners depicting Falun Gong practitioners being persecuted in China and having had explanations about the persecution, many would spontaneously come to the petition table to sign the petition.

    As early as in May last year, the CCP issued a secret announcement ordering “a severe crack-down on illegal organisations ... In order to better meet the 2008 Olympic Games to be held smoothly". Those suppressed are an “assembly of more than three people who do not listen to the advice”, “organisers of illegal organisations”, “Falun Gong practitioners” and “arrest them first and procedures to be handled later”. These secret orders are all openly an affront to the Constitution.

    On the ninth anniversary of April 25th, Finnish Falun Gong practitioners held a commemoration activity outside the train station in the centre of the capital, Helsinki. They raised awareness among passersby of how during the last nine years, the evil Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been inhumanly persecuting Falun Gong practitioners. They also protested against the CCP using of the Olympics to intensify the persecution of Falun Gong.
