  • Poland: Practitioners Raise Awareness of the Persecution in China

    uring the nearly three hours of signature collection, hundreds of people signed their names calling for an end to the persecution of Falun Gong before the Olympic Games. Many Polish people asked questions about the persecution and a number of people expressed an interest in learning Falun Gong. One of the practitioners also received calls from Chinese people who wanted to learn Falun Gong.
  • United Kingdom: Cambridge Rally Marks 9 Years of Persecution in China

    The European Tian Guo marching band performed in Cambridge on July 27th to raise awareness about the severe human rights abuses that practitioners of Falun Gong have endured for the past nine years. All of the 70-piece band are Falun Gong practitioners, hailing from different countries in Europe.
  • Sweden: Rally at the Chinese Embassy to Protest against the Persecution of Falun Gong

    Although the entrance gate of the Chinese Embassy was tightly closed, staff members of the Embassy shuffled in the courtyard. Some came out of the entrance and hid in the grove to take photos of the protesters. In order to remind the Chinese people associated with the Embassy not to be deceived by the evil Chinese regime, western practitioner Mars shouted in Chinese “Stop the Persecution!”
  • Turkey: Support for Falun Gong Practitioners from the Turkish Media

    On July 20th, in order to raise awareness of the crimes committed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) who have been brutally persecuting Falun Gong for nine years, some Falun Gong practitioners in Turkey went to Muğla in the western region. They visited several major media outlets, telling them about how the CCP persecutes Falun Gong and called on these media to expose the CCP's atrocities and help end the persecution, which has already lasted for nine years.
  • United Kingdom: European Divine Land Marching Band in London

    Saturday July 26th was a beautiful, sunny day in London. In order to expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s nine long years of brutal persecution, practitioners in the UK took to the streets of London along with the European Divine Land Marching Band. The parade ended at Trafalgar Square for a press conference.
  • Ireland: Irish Students call on the International Community to Rescue Their Parents

    On July 19th, after the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has been illegally persecuting Falun Gong practitioners for nine years, Tang Liang, a student who majors in Finance at Cork University in Ireland, exposed that he had witnessed in his own eyes how his parents, who practise Falun Gong were illegally arrested when he spent his summer holiday in China. At the moment, his father is still being detained in Jin Shui brain-washing Class, Zhengzhou city, Henan Province and his mother is facing a three to seven year illegal sentence.
  • United Kingdom: Activities in London's Chinatown to Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Faun Gong in China

    To mark nine years of persecution by the CCP, British Falun Gong practitioners went to London's Chinatown to let people know about the benefits they had received from practising Falun Gong. Meanwhile, practitioners exposed the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong, calling on support from local people.
  • Slovakia: The “Million Signatures” Petition Receives Attention from the Media

    On Thursday 17th July in Bratislava, the first in a series of rallies in Slovakia took place to collect signatures for the international petition of a “million signatures”. People immediately showed their support. One elderly lady said after signing of the petition: “I support what you are doing. My father was persecuted during the communist rule in Slovakia.
  • Spain: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong before the International Fair

    From August 6th to September 14th, 2008, an International Fair is to be held in Saragossa, Spain, with the theme “Water and its Possible Developments”. More than one hundred countries will take part and many international tourists will visit. Falun Gong practitioners have been invited to participate.
  • Ukraine: Exposing the Chinese Communist Party's Persecution Against Falun Gong

    The activities included a re-enactment of the CCP’s torture means, a demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and a candlelight vigil.
After watching the reenactment of the CCP’s torture means and learning about the nine years of persecution Falun Gong practitioners have suffered, many local residents signed a petition.
  • Poland: People Sign a Petition Condemning the Persecution of Falun Gong

    To bring an end to the CCP (Chinese Communist Party)'s persecution of Falun Gong before the Beijing Olympics, the CIPFG Coalition to Investigate the Persecution of Falun Gong launched a Global Petition at the very beginning of 2008 and enlisted worldwide support.
  • Denmark: Danish Falun Gong Practitioners Hold an Activity to Raise Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong on the Ninth Anniversary of July 20th

    July 20th, to Falun Gong practitioners around the world, is a date that can never be forgotten. On this day nine years ago, the CCP commenced the persecution of tens of millions of Falun Gong practitioners. On July 20th, 2008, Falun Gong practitioners held activities in three areas of Copenhagen.
  • Germany: Teachers and Students in the German Karlsruhe University Support the World Millions’ Signature Campaign

    Due to the Chinese Communist Party's escalation of the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners before the start of Olympic Games, the Corporation to Investigate the persecution of Falun Gong (CIPFG) launched the 'Millions of Signatures' campaign calling for an end to the CCP's brutal treatment of its own people.
  • Germany: "For human rights and for you, I will sign my name"

    On July 12th, 2008, Dresden city centre, Falun Gong practitioners held an activity to support the 'Millions of Signatures' campaign, calling for an end of the CCP persecution of Falun Gong before the Beijing Olympic Games. People who understood the truth eagerly came to sign, condemning the persecution. One German man shouted, "I will never sign" to begin with, but when he learned the purpose of the petition he said, "Well, for human rights and for you, I will sign my name this time".
  • United Kingdom: Practitioners Raise Awareness about Falun Gong on Lafrowda Day

    Falun Gong practitioners held a stall in the Cornish town of St. Just. Every July, the town is filled with colour and music on Lafrowda Day, a celebration of community arts in the area. The stall was warmly received by locals in the remote village, as well as by tourists in the area. A local radio reporter saw the stall and wanted to interview practitioners.
