On Saturday October the 9th 2004, Falun Gong practitioners in Paris gathered together in Belleville, a Chinese district situated in the East of the city, to tell people the facts about Falun Gong. Despite the heavy rain and cloudy weather, practitioners smiled and handed out leaflets to people on the streets all day long. -
Norway: The People of Stavanger Learn about the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

Saturday October the 9th was market day in the city and the practitioners used this opportunity to tell people about the genocide being waged against Falun Gong in China, which was started by former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin. On Sunday, the practitioners went to a beautiful beach, which is located near Stavanger, to demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises. -

Some people came straight to our petition table as soon as they saw us. After talking with them we realised that they had already learned that we are trying to stop the persecution and torture of Falun Gong practitioners in China from the local newspaper, which had reported on our petition to bring Jiang to justice. -
Estonia: Falun Gong was Very Popular at the Mother Earth Fair in Tallinn

When they heard about the persecution, which has already claimed over 1,000 lives, people talked about their own experiences under Communist rule in Estonia and felt that they could relate with the Falun Gong practitioners in China. They showed great sympathy and support for the practitioners suffering under Jiang's campaign of genocide in China. -

They used singing, dancing, photographs and a demonstration of the five sets of Falun Gong exercises to show people the beauty and peacefulness of Falun Dafa and the persecution in China, as well as traditional Chinese culture. -
Sweden: Falun Gong Exercise Demonstration was Part of Gothenburg’s Annual Cultural Night

On the 16th of October 2004, visitors and residents of Gothenburg City enjoyed the annual Cultural Night. Falun Gong practitioners are a regular part of this event and in the programme this year they introduced the five sets of Falun Gong exercises that have benefited 100 million people in more than 60 countries around the world. -
Switzerland: Short Stories of Exposing the Persecution in the City of Bern

As the Swiss Federal Parliament is meeting in Bern, all the parliament members gather in the city for meetings. Practitioners made the most of this precious opportunity to raise awareness about the human rights abuses against people who practise Falun Gong in China. More than 2000 German and French leaflets were given out and several hundred petition signatures were collected. -
Austria: Activities in Linz to Tell People the Facts about Falun Gong and the Persecution in China

Many people took the opportunity to enquire about the persecution and to ask for details about local practice sites where they can learn the Falun Gong exercises for free. Many people came over and signed the petitions of their own accord or had a chat with practitioners about the human rights abuses that are happening to people who practise Falun Gong in China. -
Russia: Falun Gong Practitioners Participate in the World Book Exhibition in Moscow

Russian Falun Gong practitioners took part in this book exhibition. Their stall was on the second floor with a really eye-catching sign. At the stall, they showed Falun Dafa’s books in several languages and also honours that Falun Gong has been awarded from around the world. The main media and publishers in Russia also attended and they interviewed Falun Gong practitioners who participated in the exhibition. -
Spain: Promoting Falun Gong in the Ancient City of Toledo

Toledo is an ancient city of Spain which attracts a great deal of tourists from all over the world. Practitioners placed poster displays in a square in the city centre, demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises and talked to people to raise awareness about the human rights abuses against Falun Gong practitioners in China. -
Germany: Raising Awareness about the Persecution of Falun Gong in Northern Germany

Large crowds of interested people gathered around the display boards. Many people also came to sign their names on a petition calling for the instigator of the persecution against Falun gong, former Chinese leader Jiang Zemin, to be brought to justice in a court of law for his crimes of genocide, torture and crimes against humanity. -
Belgium: Promoting Falun Gong at the Hasselt Health Fare

On the second weekend in October, Belgian Falun gong practitioners took part in the Hasselt Health Fare. Many people attended the health fare and it was a big success. Almost every visitor to the health fare came to the Falun Gong stall or received a flyer. Children all over the exhibition hall were carrying “Falun Dafa is Good” balloons and paper lotus flowers made by practitioners. -
France: Falun Gong Practitioners were Invited to the Third Athletics and Sports Festival in Guadeloupe

The citizens of Guadeloupe are very sensitive to suffering. In the past, they were victims of slavery. Therefore, most people are very open and listen to practitioners explaining the genocide that is happening in China today. People express their complete disapproval of this kind of cruel supppression and can’t understand how such a peaceful practice could be persecuted like this. -
France: Promoting Falun Gong in Lyon City

On October the 2nd, French practitioners went to the city of Lyon to promote Falun Gong to local people at a leading Asian marketplace and Lyon City Hall. Practitioners also handed out petition postcards addressed to French President Chirac for them to sign and post as an appeal for the end of this inhuman persecution. -
Sweden: Promoting Falun Gong during a Cultural Evening in Norrkping

On Saturday the 25th of September, in conjunction with a Cultural Evening in Norrkping, Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises and handed out leaflets about Falun Gong cultivation practice and the ongoing persecution in China in several locations around the city. People expressed their opinion that the persecution of Falun Gong is wrong.
