Italy: Raising Awareness about the Persecution to Tourists at the Coliseum in Rome

Ever since July 2004, Dafa practitioners have been displaying information boards at this tourist spot at least three days a week. While some of the Chinese tourists approach practitioners to take a leaflet and find out more, others are scared and keep their distance, simply staring at the banners reading, “Falun Dafa is Good” and “Righteousness will Prevail and Bring Jiang to Justice”. -
Russia: Saint Petersburg People Show their Support for Falun Gong

Falun Gong practitioners from Saint Petersburg went to Nevsky Metro Station to promote Falun Gong and raise awareness about the gross human rights violations happening to their fellow practitioners in China. After learning the truth about Falun Gong and that it is being wrongly persecuted, people took the initiative to sign a petition calling for an immediate end to the persecution. -
Czech Republic: Little Students are Concerned for the Children of Persecuted Falun Gong Practitioners in China

The persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by Jiang and his faction has destroyed many happy families and orphaned many young children. Children from Pomezi School expressed hope that the children of Falun Gong practitioners in China can be reunited with their wrongfully imprisoned parents and that the orphans can find a good home. -
Sweden: Students at Karlstad University Enjoyed Learning the Falun Gong Exercises

The Student Sports Association of Karlstad University (KSIF) invited local Falun Gong practitioners to teach some of the Falun Gong exercises on their campus. Nearly forty students took part. After the organisers received many a lot of positive feedback, the KSIF started to include the Falun Gong exercises in their weekly extracurricular activity programme. -
Czech Republic: Introducing Falun Gong in the City of Zlin

Falun Gong practitioners held an activity in the Square of Peace. People passing the posters outlining the persecution against Falun Gong in China and the torture methods used to force practitioners to renounce their beliefs often stopped to read them all. Journalists from three newspapers attended the appeal and interviewed practitioners. -
Germany: International Human Rights Organisation and Falun Gong Practitioners hold a Joint Seminar on Human Rights Violations in China

Falun Gong practitioners introduced Falun Gong, explained a few cases of severe persecution against practitioners in China and then told the high school students at the seminar how the persecution was the brainchild of China’s former leader Jiang Zemin, who has a personal vendetta against the practice. -
Ukraine: Introducing Falun Gong to a Group of Disabled People in Lviv

On the 28th of January, practitioners in the city of Lviv held an activity in a local arts centre introducing Falun Gong to deaf, mute and disabled people. The participants showed great interest in the Falun Gong exercise demonstration. Nevertheless they were very puzzled as to why the persecution is happening. Practitioners explained to everyone present what Falun Gong is and why the persecution is happening. Around fifty people attended the activity. Practitioners answered their questions and had a discussion with them through a sign language interpreter. -
Germany: 2005’s First Falun Gong Information Day held in Essen City

In order to rescue their fellow practitioners who are still imprisoned and tortured in China, practitioners gathered in Essen to continue raising awareness of the human rights violations in and asking people to add their voices to the worldwide call for those responsible for the genocide campaign against Falun Gong to be brought to justice. -
Russia: Receiving Support in Moscow whilst Raising Awareness about the Persecution Against Falun Gong

Moscow practitioners gathered in front of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to raise awareness about the persecution. Large photos exposing the torture used to force practitioners to renounce their beliefs were displayed. Since the genocide against Falun Gong was launched, human rights workers have documented over 38,000 specific cases of torture or severe abuse. -
United Kingdom: The People of Bristol Call for Jiang to be Brought to Justice

Practitioners held an activity to promote Falun Gong and tell people about the persecution in the centre of Bristol. Many people stopped to find out more and signed their names on a petition calling for Jiang Zemin, China’s former leader and chief instigator of the genocide against Falun Gong, to be brought to justice through a court of law. -
France: Exposing the Lies of the "Self-Immolation" and Presenting the Truth about Falun Gong Practice

Recently, China’s state-controlled Central TV Station (CCTV) once again slandered Falun Gong using the staged self-immolation incident in Tiananmen Square from 2001. Falun Gong practitioners in Paris held two separate activities to raise awareness about the persecution and let people know the truth about this self-immolation incident. -
Germany: Telling People about the Persecution during a Popular Mardi Gras Parade in Offenburg
2005-02-02There were several thousand spectators and the information stall was in the middle of a large crowd. There were also re-enactments of the torture methods used by the Chinese Government on Falun Gong practitioners to force them to renounce their beliefs. Many passers-by stopped and quietly viewed the displays. They appeared shocked by the brutal and inhuman violations of human rights against Falun Gong practitioners in China. Although the environment for the parade was cheerful and merry, many of the passersby were deeply touched and agreed that one should never forget that such terrible things are happening in the world. -
Slovakia: Introducing Falun Gong in the Small City of Seneca

Falun Gong practitioners visited Seneca to introduce Falun Gong and draw public attention to the persecution of the practice. Passers-by stopped to look at the poster boards. They were shocked. Many of them asked how something like this could happen in today’s world and signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution. -
United Kingdom: Introducing Falun Dafa and Exposing the Persecution in the Heart of London

On January 29th, 2005, UK practitioners held an activity to introduce Falun Dafa and expose the persecution near St Martin-in-the-Fields church, just a short walk from London’s Trafalgar Square. Practitioners distributed leaflets, demonstrated the Falun Gong exercises and talked to passersby about the facts behind the brutal suppression taking place in Mainland China. -
Germany: Stories from the Falun Gong Information Site at Cologne Cathedral
