For ten years running, Germany’s Magdeburg Police Head Office has always held activities on Ascension Day to promote cross-cultural communication between foreigners and local citizens. Falun Gong practitioners attended this activity by invitation on 5th May 2005. Bystanders were attracted to Falun Gong’s elegant exercises and stopped by to watch. -

Falun Gong practitioners in Augsburg held an activity to promote Falun Gong and tell people about the persecution happening in China. Practitioners in nearby cities also came to support this activity. They demonstrated the beauty of Falun Gong through photos, exercises, handouts, petitions and revealed the brutal methods of persecution used on practitioners in China. -
Bulgaria: People in Many Cities Learn About Falun Dafa and Express Support for Persecuted Practitioners in China

Practitioners were warmly accepted by the public and met with great interest wherever they went. They distributed flyers with detailed information about the persecution in China, the confirmed number of deaths from torture and the lawsuits filed against Jiang Zemin and his communist regime in more than 20 countries around the world. -
Germany: Seizing the Opportunity to Tell People about the Persecution of Falun Gong in China

We displayed the beauty of Falun Gong with photos of dancers in traditional Chinese costumes along with pictures from experience sharing conferences and large-scale group practices in China before the persecution began. We placed paper lotus flowers in many colours on our information table where we showed a video of Master Li Hongzhi, founder of Falun Gong, demonstrating the exercises. The kind-hearted and harmonious atmosphere of Falun Gong could be felt everywhere. A stream of people constantly passed our information table. They gladly accepted our leaflets and often stopped to ask questions. -
Russia: Falun Gong is Popular at the Health City Expo in Moscow

Falun Gong practitioners demonstrated the five sets of exercises and performed traditional Chinese dancing. The organiser and audience gave the thumbs up sign to our performances. When the expo was closing, the Moscow City Administration awarded a proclamation to the Moscow Falun Gong Association, praising its active participation. -
Germany: Despite Terrible Weather, People Support Practitioners

Practitioners in Northern Germany organised an information day in downtown Hamburg to help local people understand the truth of Falun Gong and the persecution in China. Practitioners had painted and framed some pictures that were on display, depicting real torture scenes. Many passersby stopped at our stall, signed the petition and asked how they could help. -
Czech Republic: Touring Six Cities in Northern Moravia

From the 25th to the 30th of April, a group of practitioners from the Czech Republic toured six Moravian cities. They introduced Falun Gong and told the public about the vicious on-going persecution against the practice in China. Close to six hundred petition signatures were collected and around 30.000 leaflets were handed out. -
Norwegian Practitioners Support Practitioners in Singapore who were Jailed for Spreading Information about the Persecution
2005-05-08When news reached Norway that two female practitioners in Singapore had been jailed for spreading information about the six-year brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China, local practitioners wanted to help. So far, the Nordic Association has sent a letter to the Singapore Consulate in Oslo. Two practitioners went to the office of the consulate to express their concern and to deliver a letter from the Norwegian Association, together with information about Falun Gong and the persecution, information of the same kind that the accused women had spread in Singapore. They had a good conversation with a representative of the consulate who stayed after working hours to be informed. -
Turkey: Stories of New Practitioners

The largest Turkish TV station SHOW TV interviewed practitioners who were doing the Falun Gong exercises in an Ankara park and videotaped the group practice. On the same night, the station broadcasted the interview nationwide in its news hour. Through practitioners’ persistent efforts in the last several years, the Turkish people are gradually learning about Falun Gong. -
Spain: Introducing Falun Gong at Tacoronte City in the Canary Islands

Most of the people who practised the five exercises looked radiant afterwards. One lady said that her whole body felt easy and free. Another said that she would tell her husband to practise Falun Gong and would share this good thing she had found. A young girl said that this was the third time she had done the exercises and she felt great. -
France: Falun Gong Association Representative Invited to Armenian Rally

Chairman of the French Falun Gong Association was invited to a rally and press conference. Organised by the General Association of Armenian Descendants in France, the activities were entitled “Celebrate the 60th anniversary of the liberation from Nazi concentration camps and commensurate the 90th anniversary of the holocaust of Armenians in Turkey.” -
Spain: Practitioners hold Activities to Commemorate April 25th 1999

On April the 25th, Spanish Falun Gong practitioners held a photo exhibition at Socodover Square in Toledo city centre to commemorate the 6th anniversary of the April 25th peaceful appeal. They showed the peace and beauty of Falun Gong and the persecution practitioners are suffering in China, and they called on people to be concerned and make efforts to stop this persecution.
