  • Croatia: Introducing Falun Gong at the Zagreb International Autumn Fair

    Croatian practitioners introduced Falun Gong to people attending the second International Expo for Alternative and Healthy Living, a part of the Zagreb International Autumn Fair, on September 14-18, 2011. The practitioners spoke to visitors about Falun Gong, explaining to them the principles of cultivating body and mind.
  • Poland: People Learn Falun Gong at Katowice Health Expo

    From September 15 to 17, 2011, the 34th annual Autumn Health Expo opened at the Municipal Cultural Centre in the southern city of Katowice, Poland. This is the fourth consecutive year that practitioners in Poland participated in the expo. Countless participants stopped at the booth to learn about Falun Gong.
  • Germany: Raising Awareness about Falun Gong at “China Festival” in Dusseldorf

    On Saturday, September 17, 2011, Falun Dafa practitioners in Dusseldorf participated in the “China Festival” celebrations in the city centre, which included dragon dances and other performances. Not only many local Germans, but also many Chinese in Germany came to the event, making it a good chance to reach more people with the truth about Falun Gong.
  • Austria: Introducing Falun Dafa at an Art Show in Graz

    The location of the Falun Gong booth was perfect—people could see it from every spot on the square. Practitioners hung up a “The World Needs Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” banner. An Austrian gentleman said to the practitioners, “It is great that you are trying to change the world in a peaceful way.”
  • Poland: Introducing Falun Gong at a Multicultural Festival in Warsaw

    The multicultural festival in Warsaw, Poland was held on August 28, 2011. At 1 p.m., spectators stood along the float parade path from bank square downtown to old town. On the eye-catching Falun Dafa float, practitioners demonstrated the exercises, while many spectators waved their hands and shouted: popierram (support)!
  • Italy: Falun Gong Draws Attention at Multicultural Festival in Milan

    During the two weekends from the end of June to early July, Falun Gong practitioners in Milan, Italy, were invited to take part in local community events organized by the Festival Delle Diversita. The Falun Gong information booth attracted many people of different races to come and learn about the practice. People signed the petition protesting the persecution.
  • Finland: Member of European Parliament Calls for Support for Falun Gong

    The 12th World Village Festival in Helsinki was held on May 28 and 29. This year, Ms. Heidi Hautala, a Member of European Parliament (MEP) and the chair of its Subcommittee on Human Rights, was invited by the organiser to give a speech, in which she called for support for Falun Gong practitioners who are being persecuted in China.
  • Germany: Falun Gong Welcomed at the City of Dortmund International Arts & Culture Week

    From May 28, Dortmund celebrated "International Arts & Culture Week". Falun Gong practitioners participated in the opening ceremonies and in the exhibitions. The Falun Gong booth was only 20 metres away from the central stage. Practitioners originally from China, Germany, and Russia introduced Falun Gong to the visitors.
  • Switzerland: The Art of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance Exhibition Held in Frauenfeld

    The Art of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance exhibition was held at the Glaspalast administration building in Frauenfeld, Switzerland. The exhibition lasted for two weeks between April 29 and May 14, 2011, attracting many people from all walks of life.
  • Princess Michael: Shen Yun a ‘Marvellous Evening’

    HRH Princess Michael of Kent was among the special guests at the opening night of Shen Yun Performing Arts at The London Coliseum, on April 5. At a reception after the show, the Princess briefly addressed the audience of around 180 guests, saying it was a “great honour and a pleasure” to be there and that she was “completely obsessed” with Chinese culture.
  • London's West End Welcomes Shen Yun

    Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring Company opened its run of West End performances to a delighted audience in London on Tuesday, April 5. Actor Jamie Cho said that the performances were fantastic and the dances beautiful. “The dancers were great. The two singers were amazing—the tenor and the soprano.” He was also particularly taken by the performance on the two stringed erhu.
  • Italy: Shen Yun Brings Traditional Chinese Culture to Historic Florence

    Shen Yun opened at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino on Tuesday evening, March 1, with a colourful and exhilarating performance of classical Chinese dance and music to a delighted audience. Shen Yun brought a taste of traditional Chinese culture to Florence, capital of the Italian region of Tuscany.
  • Germany: Audiences Drawn to Shen Yun's Beauty, Grace and Inner Meaning in Frankfurt

    The Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring Company began its 2011 European Tour in Frankfurt, Germany, staging three shows at Jahrhunderthalle Frankfurt on February 26-27, 2011. This was the second time in two years that Mr. Khajehamid had seen the show. He said that he was completely captivated with the performance, from beginning to end.
  • Turkey: Praise for Truth-Compassion-Forbearance International Art Exhibition in Istanbul

    From January 1 to 7, 2011, the Truth-Compassion-Forbearance International Art Exhibition was held for the second time in Istanbul, Turkey's business capital. The exhibition was held inside the Kadikoy District government building and won the praise of government officials and local people from all walks of life.
  • Romania: Truth-Compassion-Tolerance Art Exhibition Held in Timisoara

    In Timisoara - the second largest city in Romania - the Truth-Compassion-Tolerance art exhibition came to a close after its 18-day run, leaving a deep impression in the heart of this revolutionary city. Through the 34 paintings displayed in the exhibition, people discovered the beauty of Falun Gong, a practice guided by the moral values of Truth, Compassion and Tolerance, in sharp contrast with the brutality of an inhumane persecution driven by the Chinese Communist Party.
