Ms. Song Xiuyu Persecuted by the 610 Office and Public Security Bureau in Muling City, Heilongjiang Province

Ms. Song Xiuyu is a 67-year-old retired doctor and Falun Gong practitioner. For the last eight years Ms. Song has been subjected to psychological and physical torture because she would not give up practising Falun Gong. Over the past few years, the local authorities have extorted several thousand yuan from Ms. Song each time she was released from detention. On October 10th, 2007, three policemen forced their way into Ms. Song's home and ransacked it. They arrested Ms. Song, who is now, once again, in Muling City Detention Centre. -
The Persecution of Ms. Song Weijue's Family from Shanghai
2007-12-02On the evening of November 8th, 2007, Falun Dafa practitioners Ms. Song Weijue, her husband Mr. Zhu Fanli and their daughter were forcibly taken from their home by police officers. Their daughter has now been released, but Ms. Song and Mr. Zhu are still being detained. During the eight-year persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Ms. Song Weijue and her sister Ms. Song Weijuan have been arrested multiple times. They were sentenced and have suffered brutal persecution. Ms. Song Weijue is 50 years old. In 2001, she was sentenced to three and a half years in prison. Ms. Song Weijuan was given a heavy sentence of ten and a half years. -
The Persecution of Tianhe Chess Academy Principal Mr. Tong Huanxiang
2007-12-01Mr. Tong Huanxiang is the principal of Tianhe Chess Academy in Weihai. On October 11th, 2007, Mr. and Mrs. Tong Huanxiang and their daughter were just leaving a friend's house on the beach when a jeep started to follow them. After about six metres, a group of plainclothes police officers and armed police jumped out of the jeep and arrested them, claiming they were following orders. The police took them to a police station. Mr. Tong's seven-year-old was terrified and burst into tears. They were all detained. During their detention, the child repeatedly wet her pants because she was so scared. The police robbed them of their bags and confiscated all thei belongings in the bags. The police took their keys and ransacked their home and offices, including 50,000 yuan, without telling the couple. -
Falun Dafa Practitioners Arrested by Ningxia 610 Office Agents
2007-11-29As the 17th Chinese Communist Party National Congress began, Ningxia 610 Office agents reopened a brainwashing facility that had been closed for more than three years. To enable the authorities to arrest Falun Dafa practitioners, they resorted to the most despicable and sinister means. They resorted to fraud, coercion, threats and other outrageous means to arrest practitioners. Practitioners Mr. Ma Zhiwu and Mr. Zheng Yongxin were sentenced to six years in Guyuan Prison. They began hunger strikes to protest their imprisonment and persecution. Because of the tremendous pain and grief caused by nearly 8 years of persecution, Mr. Zheng's family was broken up. -
Elementary School Teacher Ms. Qi Yunping Faces an Unjust Jail Sentence
2007-11-29Ms. Qi Yunping is a teacher at Sujima Elementary School, Haixing County of Hebei Province. The police there, led by the head of the county social security division, Wang Minghao, arrested Qi Yunping at her home on July 23rd, 2007. They ransacked her home and took away her PC, printer, and other items. During the whole process, the police didn't show any legal papers. It is said that the case is currently handed over to the court, and the procuratorate and courts are trying to sentence her to jail. Her 13-year-old son is left at home alone. -
Elderly Woman from Dengzhou City, Henan Province Persecuted for Refusing to Give Up Falun Gong
2007-11-28I am a 75-year-old woman. Since the persecution of Falun Gong started in July 1999, I have been imprisoned twice because I refused to renounce or give up the practice. Just because I refuse to give up my belief in Falun Gong and I want to follow the principles of Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance to become a better person, the Chinese Communist regime plans to sentence me to seven years in prison. Let me ask a question: Which country in the world has this type of law?! Does any article in the Chinese Constitution justify such treatment? I am now forced to leave my home and go into hiding. Nevertheless, my family, relatives and friends continue to suffer from severe harassment by the police. -
Nanjing City 610 Office, Under Cheng Xiaodong, Persecutes Mr. Zhang Xuefeng and His Wife, Ms. Liu Kaimei
2007-11-26Cheng Xiaodong (male) is head of the 610 Office in Nanjing City, Jiangsu Province. Since July 20th, 1999, he has used all kinds of ruthless tactics to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. As a result, many practitioners have been detained, taken to the brainwashing centre, or taken to the mental hospital for persecution. Some of these practitioners have also been taken to the forced labour camp. Two of those who have been been imprisoned are Mr. Zhang Xuefeng and Ms. Liu Kaimei. This couple has been sentenced to long prison terms by the Xiaguan District Court in Nanjing City. -
Many Practitioners Arrested in Shenzhou City, Hebei Province
2007-11-25On October 4th, at 5am, 8 people from Shenzhou City police station and Dongan village township police station drove to practitioners Wang Qinghui and Guo Yanchun's home in Xiyangtai village, Dongan township. The police broke into their home by climbing over the wall, arresting them and confiscating one laptop computer, one printer, one copier, some DVDs and one satellite receiver. The following day, Lu Xiaoli from the same village was also arrested. In the evening of October 3rd, police from Yuke township government, Shenzhou City, drove to the home of practitioners Zhang Yunhui and Song Guiling. They were arrested as they returned from corn harvesting in the field and taken to the township judiciary department where they were brutally beaten. -
Communist Agents in Changchun City Planning to Sentence Mr. Li Zhiyong to Prison
2007-11-24Falun Gong practitioner Mr. Li Zhiyong from Changchun City was arrested again on October 26th, 2007 and taken to Jilin Prison. The Communist agents intend to sentence Mr. Li Zhiyong to prison. His parents looked for him everywhere. Eight days later they were informed that Mr. Li Zhiyong had been arrested and was being held at Jilin Prison. His father went to the prison to meet him, but the guards forbade the visit. Mr. Li's parents went to the Jilin Province Judiciary Department to report the situation. When the guard heard it was related to Falun Gong, he said, "Our higher-ups forbid all reports on Falun Gong." A letter that his family had mailed to the head of the Jilin Prison was also returned. -
Two Graduate Students, Including Ms. Liu Jingzi from Beijing Normal University, Unjustly Sentenced
2007-11-24Ms. Liu Jingzi is a graduate student attending Beijing Normal University. After Jiang Zemin's [former leader of China] communist regime launched the persecution of Falun Dafa, one of Ms. Liu Jingzi's classmates was reported one day when she was informing people about the persecution of Falun Gong and dispelling the state propaganda attacking the practice, and she was detained by the police. Later, the police found Ms. Liu and searched her dormitory under the excuse of "collecting information." She was subsequently arrested. Now Ms. Liu and her classmate have been sentenced, she for two years and six months, and the other woman for five years. They are currently detained in Beijing. -
Persecution of Practitioners from Qidong County, Hunan Province
2007-11-23In July 2007, fifteen Falun Gong practitioners from Chengguan Town, Buyunqiao Town, and Guanjiazui Town of Qidong County were arrested. Several of them were sentenced to forced labour camps. Wang Meihua was released after the police extorted 20,000 yuan from him. Kuang Zongyao was reported for stamping information dispelling the state propaganda attacking the practice on paper currency. Kuang Sen was arrested for selling and installing a satellite receiver for New Tang Dynasty TV (NTDTV), a TV company that broadcasts programmes exposing the persecution of Falun Gong. Most of the practitioners were arrested for possessing Falun Gong materials. Most of them were seriously beaten. Kuang Sen was beaten for seven days. Peng Fang was beaten to the verge of death. -
Practitioner Mr. Cai Jichun Suffering Persecution
2007-11-22On the morning of October 25th, 2007, while Mr. Cai Jichun was out earning his livelihood riding his tricycle, Mr. Cai was followed, arrested and then taken to the Yi County Police Department by police. Afterwards, four or five officers searched his home and seized Dafa books and some leaflets exposing the persecution. They took his wife to the office of the State Security Division, where she was interrogated. Later, she began twitching and went into shock, so the officers allowed her daughter to take her home. Mr. Cai was taken to the Jinzhou City No. 2 Detention centre and his tricycle was confiscated by the State Security Division. -
Dafa Practitioners Arrested by National Security Officials in Wanquan County, Hebei Province
2007-11-22On September 14th, 2007, the police sent four cars to practitioner Mr. Li Lianbing's home to arrest him. During the arrest that day his home was searched and his property was confiscated, including a notebook computer, printer, CDs, motorcycle, and over 3,000 yuan in cash. The police also took away many other household items. Due to Li Lianbing's family being poor there were hardly any valuable items in the home. The police even took several cooking pots. -
Criminal Actions of Commander Wang Kai in the Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp's Fifth Battalion
2007-11-22Wang Kai, an official of the fifth battalion in Changlinzi Forced Labour Camp, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, has actively followed the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) policy of persecuting Falun Dafa practitioners since he was promoted from instructor to the post of commander. In order to protest the persecution, Yu Huai, a practitioner, went on a hunger strike. Wang ordered criminals to force-feed him with a tube. Mr. Yu was slapped twice for not cooperating. Even when Mr. Yu became extremely weak and was in critical condition, he wasn't released. He died in April 2007 as a result of this persecution. -
Mr. Long Guande's Life at Risk in Prison

Mr. Long Guande, 43, a Falun Dafa practitioner from Guangdong Province, was severely injured from police beatings when he was arrested. Mr. Long sustained severe internal injuries, and he had blood in his urine and stool for an entire week. He also has chest pains, difficulty breathing, and continuous coughing. He is detained in the Third Detention Centre in the Baiyun District of Guangzhou City. He has refused to sign the arrest warrant.
