Italy: Promoting Falun Gong at a Health Expo in Biella

This year’s expo was held in Biella University and is the second time that Falun Gong practitioners have been involved. The organisers of the expo specially erected two Falun Gong posters, one of them introducing Falun Gong and the other of practitioners doing the exercises. The organiser commended Falun Gong, saying that it is a practice that cultivates the heart, mind and body. The expo also provided an area for practitioners to demonstrate the exercises and for practitioners to teach people the exercises. -
Finland: Successful Exhibition held in Helsinki

A Falun Dafa photo exhibition was recently held in a library in Helsinki, the capital city of Finland. The exhibition explains how Falun Gong was banned by Jiang Zemin, and how he launched a cruel persecution against its practitioners. The huge contrast between the evilness of the persecution and the beauty and peacefulness of Falun Gong can be seen very clearly. -
Germany: A Large Parade and Information Day Held in Berlin

The parade, included banners which read, "Bringing Jiang Zemin to court", "Urgently rescue Xiong Wei". Pictures of practitioners being persecuted and cruelly punished were also displayed. The purpose of the parade was to arouse people's concern for the brutal persecution in China, and at the same time appeal for support from people. -
Ukraine: Falun Dafa Press Conference Attended by More Than Ten Different Newspapers

On November the 19th 2003, Falun Dafa practitioners in the Ukraine protested peacefully beside the Chinese Embassy and held a press conference to highlight the Chinese government’s persecution of Dafa practitioners. More than ten newspapers attended the press conference. Practitioners truly seized the opportunity to let the media know more about Falun Gong. -
Italy: Promoting Falun Dafa at a Medical Seminar in Turin

On the 11th of November 2003, a medicine seminar was held in Turin, Italy and was sponsored by the Turin city council, Piemonte District and the Italian Sanitation Department. Ms Wang, a Chinese attendee from Sweden, a doctor of Chinese medicine and a Falun Gong practitioner gave a two hour lecture at the seminar, introducing Falun Gong via her own experiences. -
A Swedish Practitioner Appeals for Help from the Irish Government to Rescue Two Dublin Students Detained in China

"I learned that Liu Feng is in dangerous situation; he has been detained for 10 month with no visitors permitted to see him. I hope that the Irish Embassy in China can send an official to check on his safety. On behalf of Liu Feng and Yang Fang I am now asking the Irish government for help to rescue them and speak out on their behalf." -

Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Talk about Falun Gong at an American Women’s Club in Gothenburg
2003-12-03When Falun Gong practitioner Pirjo Svensson talked about her experience of being illegally detained in Thailand for five weeks, an American woman excitedly said that: "I know who you are! When your friends launched a signature collection campaign to rescue you, I signed my name to that petition. They patiently approached every passer-by to explain the facts about Falun Gong and the reason why you were detained. I was really moved by their action..." -
Greece: Support for Falun Gong in an Athens Park

The practitioners have appealed to the embassy to help stop the genocide in mainland China, and have sent forth righteous thoughts in the small park opposite the embassy. People that have been visiting the consular section of the embassy have taken the information materials that the practitioners have offered and have supported the appeal. -
Austria: Dafa Practitioners Again Invited to the Annual Health Expo in Vienna

The peaceful exercises interested many audience members and some asked how they could learn how to practise. After learning about the persecution, a lot of people signed a petition to rescue Xiong Wei, a German practitioner currently being detained in China. Many people stood in front of the display boards that exposed Jiang’s crimes, for a long time. The horrific torture depicted on the boards formed a sharp contrast to the beauty of the Dafa exercises. -

The 90-page submission outlined the personal experiences of 15 victims who currently live outside the Chinese mainland and 800 plus torture cases that have resulted in death. Mr. Kaleck thinks the importance of this case is similar to that of the lawsuit against Augusto Pinochet and the on-going case against former Yugoslavian president Slobodan Milosevic.” -
Germany: Famous German Lawyer held a Press Conference with the German Falun Dafa Association

On November 24th, famous German criminal lawyer Wolfgang Kaleck held a press conference with the German Falun Dafa Association in Berlin, announcing that a lawsuit has been launched in Germany against the ex-president of China, along with fifteen other accomplices in his persecution of Falun Gong, charging him with torture crimes, genocide and crimes against humanity. -
Global Coalition to Bring Jiang Zemin to Justice Submits Evidence to International Court in The Hague

The coalition submitted printed materials about the lawsuit against Jiang from different countries to the first judge of the International Court and requested a trial of the Chinese dictator. The attendees came from Holland, Switzerland, Germany and Israel. This is the sixth public rally organized by the Global Coalition, following similar rallies in Paris, Munich, Frankfort, Cologne, and Berlin. -

Ireland: Irish Practitioners Clarify the Facts During a Concert

Concertgoers were very interested to learn more about Dafa when they found out that a member of the band is a Falun Gong practitioner. Many of them expressed deep sympathy and irritation over the inhuman persecution against Falun Gong in China. Lots of people asked for leaflets to learn more and gave encouraging remarks to practitioners to show their concern, including ‘good luck’, ‘freedom’, ‘stop the persecution’ and ‘best wishes’.
