An Editor of a Spanish Chinese Newspaper: Today I Met a True Falun Gong Practitioner

"There was a Chinese man sitting on the table next to mine. It turned out that he was the editor of a Chinese newspaper in Spain. He said that he knew about Falun Gong and read Falun Dafa websites. He also said that he has never written articles to slander and attack Falun Gong. The Chinese Embassy put pressure on the newspaper to write such reports. But he had his own standard of behaviour and would not go against it and write anything against his will." -
Special Interview with a German Practitioner: Legalization of the Falun Symbol in Germany Is Significant
2004-04-04In Germany, there is a law that prohibits the display of the Nazi Swastika or other similar symbols. To someone who knows nothing about Falun Gong, the Falun Symbol might be wrongly associated with its Nazi counterpart. The Chairman of the German Falun Gong Association received an indictment from his local district court, on the charge that displaying the Falun symbol on the German Falun Dafa Association’s website was illegal. Russia: Exposing the Evil Persecution through an Art Exhibition
2004-04-03Chinese artist Zhang Cuiying returned once again to Russia to exhibit her paintings. She had just successfully held an art exhibition in a large city in Eastern Siberia. Mrs Zhang then went on to Pjatigorsk City in the Caucasus Mountains, which is a journey of about ten thousand miles. The exhibition was held at the central library on March the 22nd. Before the opening ceremony began, many people were already gathering inside the exhibition hall. All wanted to admire Mrs Zhang’s wonderful pictures. -

Germany: Clarifying the Facts in a Radio Interview
2004-04-02The hostess of the radio station decided to produce a forty-five minute programme about Falun Gong to be broadcast several weeks after our interview. So, several days ago, a practitioner from Karlsruhe and I went to the radio station. While we waited in the hall, we introduced Falun Gong to the receptionist who took a deep interest in Falun Gong. Practitioners meet with United Nations Journalists in Geneva
2004-04-01For the opening session of the United Nations Commission on Human Rights at Geneva on Thursday the 11th of March 2004, the Swiss Falun Gong Association organized a meeting with United Nations journalists, to give them the latest news on the suppression of Falun Gong and on the peaceful means being implemented to combat it. Journalists of the major press agencies showed their interest by continuing a discussion with practitioners for the duration of the press conference. -
Sweden: Falun Gong recieves Warm Support at Sweden's Largest Mind and Body Fair

On March the 27th and 28th Falun Gong was displayed at Swedens largest body and mind fair in Liljeholmen, Stockholm. The fair, which is very popular amongst spiritual seekers and people who are interested in alternative health care, attracted thousands of visitors. Many payed a lot of attention to the Falun Gong booth where practitioners explained the facts and demonstrated the exercises. -
A Successful Photo Exhibition in the University of Geneva

During the 60th session of the United Nations Human Rights Commission, the Falun Gong Association of Geneva University held an exhibition of photographs entitled, “Falun Dafa and Human Rights” on campus. Quite a few students already knew a bit about the persecution of Falun Gong in China, but the cruelty and barbarity were beyond their imagination. -
Spain: Promoting Falun Gong and Explaining the Facts in Lerida City

After attending the Health Fair in Lerida, Spain, practitioners from Madrid and Barcelona returned to Lerida City on March the 22nd to help local practitioners set up a new practice site. It was a fine day with a clear blue sky. Early in the morning, people came to the spacious area of grass in the centre of the city to learn the Falun Gong exercises. -

The practitioners introduced the brutal persecution of Falun Gong in China to the participants at the meeting. Russia: Telling the Facts to the Precious Chinese People
2004-03-28Many Chinese people visit Irkutsk. Most go to the shopping square downtown. In the beginning, they were not very interested in the truth-clarification materials that we had placed in the shops, but now it is much better. Most are willing to take the newspapers and Video-CDs that explain the truth about Falun Gong. We also hang up banners reading “Falun Dafa is good”, “Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance” and “Falun Dafa will bring you a Beautiful Future.” -

On March the 15th, Mr. Ueli Leuenberger, member of the Swiss Federal Parliament, and Ms. Maria Roth-Bernasconi, councillor of Geneva State, sent speeches to the anti-persecution press conference held by Falun Gong practitioners at the Places Des Nations. Poland: Falun Gong Practitioner’s Painting Exhibition Brings Brilliance to Ancient Warsaw

At the beginning of March, Ms Zhang Cuiying, a well-known artist of traditional Chinese painting from Australia, held a two-day exhibition in the Polish capital. MP Paul Poslus made an opening speech at the exhibition. Many representatives of the media, including Polish National Television, TVP, RMF-FM radio, the Polish Daily and Journal, reported on the exhibition.
