    On December 11th, 2007, a China Human Rights Forum was held in Dole City Hall. In their remarks, representatives from various human rights organisations illustrated, analyzed and exposed the Chinese Communist regime’s evil nature and the atrocities it has perpetrated during its economic development.
  • Ukraine: The People of Dzerjinsk are Happy to Learn about Falun Gong

    When people saw Falun Gong practitioners' display, many were interested and asked what it was all about; who were the people in the pictures in the display panels? Why were these activities held outside in such cold weather? After practitioners talked with them about the persecution of Falun Gong, which has continued for eight years, they were shocked and signed the petition without hesitation.
  • Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners Protest against the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

    On December 10th, 2007, International Human Rights Day, Falun Gong practitioners from Helsinki gathered outside the Chinese Embassy to protest against the Chinese Communist Party’s genocide of Falun Gong during the past eight years. In late afternoon, they held a candle-light vigil to mourn for Falun Gong practitioners who have been murdered through the persecution.
  • France: Practitioners Gather in Lille for Joint Activities

    On December 8th, 2007, French and Belgian Falun Gong practitioners organised an activity in the northern industrial city of Lille in France to raise awareness about Falun Gong and the persecution. As well as displaying eye catching banners and exhibiting photos depicting the persecution of Falun Gong in China, practitioners also distributed leaflets to passers by.
  • France: Asian Ethnic Groups Rally to Condemn the Chinese Communist Regime’s Atrocities

    "I think China’s current situation (referring to the Beijing Games) is similar to the 1936 Berlin Olympic Games hosted by Nazi Germany or the 1980 Moscow Olympic Games hosted by the former Soviet Union, which was an autocratic country. I think these autocratic countries are unqualified for hosting the Olympic Games.”
  • Sweden: Falun Gong Practitioners Raise Awareness about the Persecution on Nobel Prize Awards Day

    December 10th, 2007 was the annual Nobel Prize awards day. At six o’clock in the evening, Swedish practitioners came to the front of City Hall. This day each year has become a good opportunity for them to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong among the guests from various circles that come to attend the Nobel Prize dinner.
  • Sweden: China’s Human Rights Situation Condemned at the International Human Rights Day Gathering

    The annual International Human Rights Day was on December 10th. Many Swedish International Human Rights organisations gathered at Gothenburg University and held a report session on “Human Rights Courage, Consciousness and Action”. Mr. Manyang Wu, a China specialist from the ISHR, was invited to speak regarding “The situation in China before the Beijing Olympics”.

    In July 1999, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) started a brutal crackdown on the practice of Falun Gong. In their spare time Falun Gong practitioners all over the world started to tell people about the benefits of practising Falun Gong, its success internationally and the brutal persecution happening in China.

    After the Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party was published three years ago, many Falun Gong practitioners keep spreading them to the Chinese people. They hope that, after reading the Nine Commentaries, they would know better about the truth of how the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has persecuted the Chinese people.
  • Norway: Falun Gong Practitioners Sing at a Christmas Concert in Bodo

    On December 1st, 2007, a Christmas Concert was held by the Alle Kan Synge Koret singing group at the cathedral near the Town Hall in Bodo. Wang Yajun, a Falun Gong practitioner who took part in the New Tang Dynasty Television “International Chinese Vocal Competition”, was invited as a special guest at the concert. The host introduced how innocent Falun Gong practitioners were brutally persecuted in mainland China.
  • Finland: Falun Gong Practitioners Support EU Parliament Public Hearing

    In November, Falun Gong practitioners from Helsinki went to the Chinese Embassy to show support for the EU parliament inviting three China-based Falun Gong practitioners for a public hearing about China’s human rights. Many people who came to the Chinese Embassy for visas learned about China’s human rights situation.
  • Italian Branch of Amnesty International Participates in a Global Campaign Calling on China to Respect Human Rights

    On December 5th, 2007, the Italian branch of Amnesty International joined a global campaign to call on Beijing to make significant improvement in its human rights situation. In a statement, the director of the Italian branch of Amnesty International said, “The Olympic Games to be held in Beijing in August next year would be a precious opportunity for the people around the world to pay attention to China’s human rights situation. People may call on the Beijing Administration to improve its human rights record directly or through the twenty thousand journalists who have signed up to cover the event.”
  • Greece: Stop the Organ Harvesting from Live Falun Gong Practitioners

    On Human Rights Day (December 10th) in Greece, practitioners raised awareness about cases of organ harvesting from live Falun Gong practitioners in China. The information was exhibited in a pedestrian area in the centre of Athens, near many universities. Many young people who passed by were shocked to learn about all these abuses but very interested to support an end to the organ harvesting.
  • United Kingdom: Supporting Justice in Leeds

    On November 17th, 2007, Falun Gong practitioners in Leeds launched activities to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese Communist Party. Many pedestrians stopped to sign to support stopping the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and many people showed their interest in the peaceful Falun Gong exercises and obtained introductory information about the free Falun Gong classes in their area.
  • Finland: Supporting 29 Million People Quitting the CCP in Helsinki

    On December 1st, volunteers from the Epoch Times newspaper, as well as Falun Gong practitioners and representatives from the Finnish Service Centre for Quitting the CCP, held an activity in Helsinki to support the 29 million Chinese people who have quit the CCP. Attracted by the banners, posters and a broadcast of the “Nine Commentaries”, many people came to sign the petition.
