Ms. Deng Huiqun from Guangdong Province Dies as a Result of Persecution
2003-12-26Dafa practitioner Ms. Deng Huiqun from Jiangmen City, Guangdong Province was arrested and detained at the Jiangmen Detention Centre, where she went on a hunger strike to protest the persecution. After over one month on her hunger strike, she was transferred to the Sanshui Women's Labor Camp in Guangdong Province, but because of her extremely poor health, the labor camp refused to take her. Her family then came to pick her up, but shortly after she returned home, she passed away. -
Dafa Practitioner Mr. Song Youchun Tortured to Death in the Qinglong County Detention Centre
2003-12-26Dafa practitioner Mr. Song Youchun was 54 years old, and lived in Tumenzi Township, Qinglong County, Qihuangdao City. At 6:00 p.m. on December 15, 2003, Song Youchun died at the Qinglong County Detention Centre following 14 days of inhuman treatment. The police ordered his family to remove his body within three days or they would forcibly cremate it. -

After the Chinese Spring Festival in early 2002, the staff in the labour camp brought him to a hospital for a checkup and found that he contracted pleurisy, tuberculosis and pneumonia. Later, he was brought to the Second Hospital of Daqing City, a hospital for infectious diseases, for treatment. At that time, he was very frail. Fearing responsibility for his death, the labour camp found a family member to take him out of the labour camp under the guise of "medical treatment." -

2003-12-24When a reporter called the Zigong Police Department on 86-813-4702024 to verify the death of Li Xindi, a policeman confirmed that Li died last year at the labour camp, but he claimed that Li committed suicide. 2003-12-24In the end, He Guozhong wasn't even able to walk from his cell to the dinning hall. The police had to send him to the hospital. The examination found that one leg and one arm of his were full of pus, which kept flowing out. After coming back from the hospital, policeman Han Hongtao told us that one leg and one arm of He Guozhong's had almost become an empty shell. -

2003-12-23From the window of the cell, I repeatedly saw people coming out of the warehouse. After they washed their sweat away with water, they would run back in and continue the beating. This went on until Wang Qiuxia was dead. Duan, the head of the cell where I was detained, came back and said, "Wang cannot breathe! They are administering artificial respiration. Someone went to report what has happened." A short while later, Ma, the division leader, brought the labour camp doctor, and they took an oxygen bag into the warehouse. Before long I saw that several people carried Ms. Wang out. I saw that Ms. Wang's legs were black and blue. -

Liu Qingyu, Director of Shuangcheng's Detention Centre Has a History of Torturing and Murdering Falun Dafa Practitioners
2003-12-23They force-fed another Falun Dafa practitioner, Ms. Liu Jie, and she died in the same way. Liu Qingyu directed the use of force-feeding as a method of torturing practitioners. Every time he sent Falun Dafa practitioners to the forced labour camps or prisons, he had to bribe someone because these institutions would refuse to accept severely wounded practitioners. Liu Qingyu would personally bribe these institution officials to accept them without the mandatory medical examinations.
