  • Article from Irish Times: China Accused of Organ Harvesting

    "A US human rights lawyer has today accused the Chinese military of harvesting the organs of imprisoned Falun Gong members to sell to foreign customers. The report claims that Falun Gong prisoners, jailed for membership of the outlawed spiritual group, are singled out for the transplants during which many of them die. It says Falun Gong prisoners are given systematic blood tests and medical tests, while some hospitals have admitted they have Falun Gong organs for sale."
  • Russia: Residents of Petrozavodsk Condemn the Chinese Communist Regime’s Persecution of Falun Gong

    On February 17th 2007, Russian Falun Gong practitioners gathered at the business centre of Petrozavodsk, a city in northern Russia, despite the chilly weather and blizzards, to tell people about the Chinese Communist regime’s persecution against Falun Gong, as well as expose the vile regime’s atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners for profit. Reporters from a local TV Station and a cable TV station interviewed the practitioners.
  • Germany: Berlin Practitioners Protest at the Singapore Embassy

    Despite freezing cold weather, Berlin Falun Gong practitioners met outside the Singapore Embassy on Wednesday January 24th 2007. They were there to protest against the lawless and roguish actions of the Singapore authorities used against peacefully demonstrating Falun Gong practitioners in Singapore. During the afternoon, two practitioners entered the Embassy to present a letter of protest and to tell the staff about the incident. The first secretary welcomed them personally, listened to their concerns and promised to forward the letter.
  • France: NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular Shown at the Palais des Congres de Paris

    On the afternoon of February 24th 2007, the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular was held at the Grand Amphitheatre of the Palais des Congres de Paris. The world art capital was moved by this grand presentation of Chinese traditional culture. The wonderful performance won acclamations from the nearly four thousand spectators."Mr. Aung Ko said, "Today's performance includes everything - human rights, freedom, and art."
  • United Kingdom: Letting More Aberdeen People know about the Persecution Against Falun Gong

    In order to raise people’s awareness and attention to the persecution against Falun Gong by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Helen went to Aberdeen on 21st February 2007. This was one stop on her journey around Scotland to raise awareness about the persecution of Falun Gong through talking about her own experiences.
  • France: Falun Gong Practitioners Invited to Chinese New Year’s Parade in Noisy Le Grand

    On February 17th 2007, Falun Gong practitioners participated in the Chinese New Year’s Parade in Noisy Le Grand, a suburb of Paris, under invitation from the city. After the parade reached its destination – the Community Centre – practitioners demonstrated the five sets of Falun Gong exercises. Some visitors asked to learn the exercises right after the demonstration.
  • Finland: Collecting Petition Signatures and Exposing the CCP’s Organ Harvesting Atrocities

    Practitioners from Helsinki displayed banners, photos and posters on the pavement in front of Helsinki train station to expose the Chinese Communist regime’s seven years of persecution against Falun Gong in China. They particularly wanted to raise the awareness about the atrocities of harvesting organs from living practitioners and selling them to transplant seekers.
  • European Falun Gong Divine Land Marching Band Performs in Berlin

    On February 10th 2007, when the European Falun Gong Divine Land Marching Band made its debut on Berlin’s Unter den Linden, the magnificent resounding music attracted a lot of people’s attention. The band, consisting of one hundred and fifty Falun Gong practitioners from about twenty European countries, was established in October 2006.
  • Italian Newspaper Reports on NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular

    On February 20th 2007, Italy’s largest daily newspaper Corriere della Sera carried a half-page article about the NTDTV Chinese New Year spectacular. The article reported that the spectacular, with a live orchestra of forty five musicians and over one hundred and fifty dancers, singers and actors, is magnificent. The show displays China’s five thousand year old history and civilization.

    From January 20th to 27th and on February 3rd 2007, practitioners in St. Petersburg held activities to raise awareness about the persecution against Falun Gong in China, exposing the Chinese Communist Party’s crime of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. People were shocked by the CCP’s crimes.

    The report introduced the beauty of the Chinese culture, the dazzling costumes and the legendary fight between the good and the evil staged by the Chinese New Year Spectacular. It quoted the director of the band Mr. Chen Rutang who said his mission was to revive the spirit of the five-thousand year old Chinese culture destroyed by the CCP.

    Recently, six practitioners were charged by the Singapore authorities with assembling without a permit and underwent a trial inaccessible to the public, media and family members. The secret trial caused extensive concern. Human rights lawyer Mr. Ravi’s certificate to practise law was revoked by the Singapore government due to his defence of Falun Gong practitioners.

Followers of the peaceful spiritual practice Falun Gong are persecuted with a brutality that is beyond belief. Artists who have often fallen victim to the military regime themselves, use their art to talk about the cruelties they suffered or which they observed others suffering.
  • Austrian Foreign Minister Shows Concern over the CCP’s Illegal Organ Harvesting

    At the end of November 2006, Petra Bayr, Elisabeth Hlavac and some other Austrian Parliamentarians wrote a formal letter to the Foreign Minister and the Health Minister asking for replies on the issue of the Chinese Communist Party’s (CCP) practice of harvesting organs from living Falun Gong practitioners. In her reply, the Foreign Minister emphasised that Austria supported the efforts of organizations to investigate Chinese prisons, especially the UN Special Rapporteur on torture.

    On the evening of the 10th of February 2007, four Falun Gong practitioners from Tomsk in Russia drove to the nearby city of New Siberia to distribute material to local Chinese people. From 1st of April 2007, foreign retailers will be completely banned from trading in Russia. With this in mind, practitioners in Tomsk wanted to deliver the latest edition of The Epoch Times into their hands before the Chinese went home for the New Year en mass. They would learn the latest news about quitting the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliate associations. These precious Chinese people were given yet another chance to learn the truth and to withdraw from the evil party.
