    On February 27th, 2007, the first performance of NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular drew successfully to a close in Berlin. Both the Chinese and the German audience highly praised the artistic conception as well as the performances. The great hit made by the Gala has spread by word of mouth among the Chinese community in Germany.

  • Finland: Finnish People Condemn the Persecution of Falun Gong and Show their Support for Practitioners

    Practitioners in Finland set up a display of photographs and posters to inform local people about the persecution of Falun Gong in China. During the activity practitioners distributed leaflets and other information, talked with passersby and collected signatures for a petition calling for an end to the vicious persecution of this wholly peaceful spiritual practice.
  • Danish Newspaper Publishes Statement from an NGO Condemning the Brutal Persecution of Falun Gong Practitioners in Harbin

    "On January 23rd of this year, we in the Network for Human Rights in China sent a letter to the Lord Mayor of Aarhus, Nicolai Wammen, urging him to freeze the cultural exchanges with Harbin, Aarhus’ chinese twinned city, until the Harbin authorities stop the torture and killings of Falun Gong practitioners held in the city’s many labour camps and detention centres. We are happy to see that Lord Mayor Wammen has taken the case seriously and asked the Foreign Ministry to investigate the matter. It is also encouraging to see that many of the City Council’s members are taking the case seriously."
  • United Kingdom: Falun Dafa Group Invited to Cambridge University

    The Cambridge Falun Dafa group were invited to the "Big Chill" student event at Cambridge University on Sunday, March 4th. The event was held in King's College and intended to introduce students to relaxing alternatives to help reduce stress. Many students were interested to hear about Falun Dafa and watch the exercise demonstrations.

I have totally changed my attitude toward life and come to know the true meaning of life,” said a Chinese person, after seeing the last show by NTDTV’s Divine Performing Arts in Berlin, Germany on February the 28th 2007. He is not the only one to say so.
  • Germany: Solemn Chinese Consulate Protest Continues Despite the Storm

    Frankfurt Falun Gong practitioners organised a solemn protest at the Chinese Consulate to expose to the Consulate staff and passersby the persecution of Falun Gong by China’s Communist Party. A photographer from one of the larger Frankfurt newspapers passed by and asked us if he could take a photo of them holding banners with the Consulate in the background.

    "Western countries are beginning to pay high-level attention to accusations that Chinese authorities are killing jailed members of the banned Falun Gong spiritual movement in order to sell their body parts for organ transplants, reports suggest. A subcommittee of the US House of Representatives held a hearing on the accusations on 29th September while the issue was also raised at foreign minister level at the China-European Union summit meeting on 9th September in Helsinki."

    On February 24th, the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular made its debut in Paris. The Spectacular presented an audience of over 7,000 with pure and genuine Chinese culture and art. In turn, the audience expressed their appreciation with strong applause, unremitting enthusiasm and even tears.

    NTDTV’s Chinese New Year Spectacular shows, which just drew to a close in Berlin, attracted the German media’s attention. More than a dozen media outlets covered the event, where they saw firsthand genuine traditional Chinese culture. President of the German Federation of Journalists and reporter Mr. Michael Konken gave high praise to the show.

Through partnership with the Working Together for Human Rights Association since last year, Amnesty International has kept a close eye on various atrocities perpetrated by the Chinese Communist regime to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. On various formal occasions, it also appealed for Falun Gong practitioners’ human rights and strongly condemned the Chinese regime’s persecution against Falun Gong practitioners.

    The four performances of the NTDTV Chinese New Year Spectacular in Europe gave 14,000 people an opportunity to learn more about genuine Chinese culture. The genuine Chinese culture without the CCP culture moved the audience, especially Chinese people living overseas, who highly praised the show.
  • Austrian Newspaper Niederos Terreichische Nachrichten Reports on Touching Art Exhibition

    “Please let the pictures talk to you, even though many are quite shocking", Mrs. Ulrike Konigsberger-Ludwig, the council woman for culture in Amstetten, said in her opening speech for the art exhibition at the city hall. This art exhibition was sponsored by The Austrian Association for Art and Cultural Exchanges (Ars Cara). The majority of artists from mainland China had their own experiences of human rights persecution by the CCP. They are Falun Gong practitioners and are following the principle of Truthfulness Compassion Forbearance. This is the reason why they are persecuted by the CCP in China.
