  • Italian MP Issues Press Release Condemning the CCP's Persecution of Falun Gong

    The Honourable Domenico Scilipoti said that it's really disgraceful that the CCP abuses basic human rights. "Its discrimination and persecution of Falun Gong practitioners who believe Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance is unacceptable. Men and women, young and old, every day, Falun Gong practitioners are beaten and subjected to all kinds of gross mistreatment and abuse in prison.
  • Finland: Practitioners Support Quitting the CCP and Protest the Persecution

    On July 10 and 11 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held an anti-torture photo exhibition in a well-known church and park to expose the Chinese Communist Party's persecution of Falun Gong and to support the 57 million Chinese people that have already quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations.

    On July 11 2009, a group of Falun Gong practitioners went to St. Martin's Square in London to hold an activity for the second time that month. They have been holding such activities whenever possible to reach more people with the truth about the persecution of Falun Gong. Many passersby stopped to take a closer look and sign the petition.
  • Le Monde Denounces the Repression of Lawyers in China Who Defend Falun Gong

    In an article dated August 1, 2009, the established French newspaper Le Monde denounced the increasingly violent repression of lawyers in China who dare to defend Falun Gong practitioners and other victims of the Chinese regime's blind violence.
  • NTDTV Files Lawsuit Against Eutelsat

    According to NTDTV.com, New Tang Dynasty Television (NTDTV) has filed a lawsuit against Eutelsat for its shutdown of NTDTV's signal to Asia. A French court has accepted the lawsuit and a hearing date will be announced. Eutelsat is facing the legal procedure for its betrayal of public trust and responsibility for business contracts, apparently under pressure from the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
  • Spain: Falun Gong Welcomed at Arenys de Munt Fair

    From June 6 to 7, 2009, Arenys de Munt in Spain welcomed its first "Nature and Spiritual Healing" Fair with the theme "Discover Yourself". A few dozen groups participated. Especially eye-catching was Falun Gong's stand with exercise photos from around the world and exhibits exposing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) persecution of Falun Gong in China.
  • Sweden: A Series of Activities to Mark Ten Years of Resisting the Persecution

    In order to call for an end to the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) decade-long persecution of Falun Gong, practitioners in Sweden held a car tour, stopping in a number of cities to hold activities. The tour started from Copenhagen on July 11th 2009 before moving into Sweden and stopping in various cities where people signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.
  • Iceland: Protesting Ten Years of Persecution at the Chinese Embassy

    On 20th July 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Iceland protested in front of the Chinese Embassy. They called for an end to the ten years of persecution that the Chinese communist Party (CCP) has waged against Falun Gong practitioners. The practitioners talked to passersby about the Falun Gong practice and the CCP's horrendous human rights abuses.
  • Germany: "Falun Gong is the Chinese People's Pride"

    July 20, 2009, marked the tenth year of the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong. To stop the CCP's atrocities, Falun Gong practitioners in Dortmund, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany held a Falun Dafa Information Day on July 20 to call for an end of the inhumane persecution.

    'Xiong Wei spent two years in a Chinese labour camp. In Prague for a July 20 exhibition and candlelight vigil commemorating the 10-year anniversary of the Chinese government's banning of Falun Gong, Xiong recounted her experiences that quickly took her from work in Germany to a daylight kidnapping on the streets of Beijing.'
  • Belgium: Practitioners Gather at the Stock Exchange in Brussels and Call to End the Persecution

    On July 17 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held an event in front of the famous Stock Exchange in downtown Brussels, calling people from all walks of life to pay attention to the brutal persecution of Falun Gong by the Chinese communist Party (CCP), which has lasted ten years, and to stop the persecution.
  • President of a Swedish Human Rights Organisation Publicly Condemns the Persecution of Falun Gong

    "Ten years of the persecution of Falun Gong in China have already passed. Ten years of illegal detention, cruel torture, and forced labour. Ten years of brainwashing propaganda and lies have passed. During these ten years, Falun Gong practitioners have never adopted violence, but have simply and peacefully asked to be allowed the freedom of belief."
  • Russia: District Secretary for Culture in Moscow – "Truth, Compassion and Forbearance Can Be Seen in Each Painting"

    Recently, the Truth-Compassion-Forbearance International Art Exhibition began a month-long tour in the Russian capital of Moscow. At the National Gallery, the exhibition has attracted people from all walks of life. MP Waquar Beauvoir, who attended the opening ceremony in the Moscow District said, "The International Art Exhibition is bright, and makes you feel good."
  • France: Quit the CCP Activity in Paris

    On June 22, 2009, the French "Quit the CCP" Service Centre sponsored an assembly in Bellville, Paris, to support the 56 million people that have quit the CCP and its affiliated organisations. They also provided the Chinese living in Paris with services and consultation to help them quit.
  • Belgium: Activities Held to Protest the Persecution

    In July 2009, Falun Gong practitioners held activities in Brussels at La Bourse Plaza, in front of the Chinese Embassy, and in Chinatown, and in Antwerp in Chinatown to protest the 10-year-long persecution. On July 11, practitioners held activities in Chinatown in Antwerp, the second largest city in Belgium, to protest the persecution of Falun Gong.
