  • Denmark: People of Denmark Support Falun Gong

    Shortly after their nationwide car tour in Denmark, Falun Gong practitioners of Copenhagen continued their endeavours to protest against the persecution. On August 2 2009, at Axeltorv Square, practitioners introduced Falun Gong and exposed the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) ten-year-long persecution of the practice.
  • United Kingdom: Hear of Falun Gong in the East Finchley Festival in London

    The East Finchley Festival is a popular local outdoor party in the community. The coming of Falun Gong practitioners has brought an opportunity to the attending residents with various ethnic backgrounds to experience Falun Gong and to learn about the true story. Passers-by received leaflets one by one. Many stood there to read the panels, find out more and watch the exercise demonstration.
  • Finland: "What Can We Do about the Persecution in China?"

    Falun Gong practitioners in Finland have clarified the truth at the White Church, a well-known tourist attraction in Finland, since July 23, 2009. In addition to introducing Falun Gong and the persecution in China to the visitors at the church, they also help Chinese tourists to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organisations.
  • Switzerland: Visitors to Falun Gong Information Table Are Appalled by Atrocities Happening in China

    On August 15 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Switzerland held a Falun Gong Information Day in Bern, the capital, exposing the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong. Many people who passed by either stopped to read the display boards on or took flyers and newspapers to read later.
  • United Kingdom: Introducing Falun Dafa at the Edinburgh International Arts Festival

    British Falun Gong practitioners were on hand at the Edinburgh International Art Festival August 8 to 9, 2009, to inform the public about Falun Gong. This renowned art festival held in August every year hosts plenty of shows in both theatres and in the street and draws many tourists, both domestic and international, to the Scottish capital.
  • Turkey: Rally Exposes the Chinese Communist Party's Atrocities

    On August 15, 2009, Turkish practitioners held a rally in Istanbul's famous Taksim Square to expose the Chinese Communist Party (CCP)'s criminal persecution of Falun Gong. They called on the Turkish people to help to put an end to the decade-long brutal persecution. Three of Turkey's largest news agencies and Turkey's largest newspaper dispatched reporters to cover the event.
  • Denmark: Car Tour Warmly Welcomed Throughout Denmark

    From July 27 to August 2, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Denmark went on a car tour around eight major Danish cities outside of Copenhagen to introduce Falun Gong, also known as Falun Dafa, a cultivation practice based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, and to raise awareness about the persecution in China.
  • United Kingdom: Falun Gong Practitioners Gather at Korean Embassy to Call for Justice

    UK-based practitioners protested against the deportation of three Falun Gong asylum seekers from Korea to China in front of the Korean Embassy in London from August 5 to 7, 2009. Falun Gong practitioners from different countries have appealed to the Korean government not to give in to the Chinese Communist regime.
  • Finland: Practitioners Spread the Facts and Win Public Support in Resisting the Persecution

    In August 2009, Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held events in Helsinki and Pello to introduce Falun Gong and expose the persecution inflicted on the practice by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). At one side of the square in front of Helsinki church, practitioners held banners and set up poster boards. They also collected signatures to condemn the CCP's brutal persecution.
  • Austria: Practitioners Expose the CCP's Ten-year Persecution of Falun Gong

    The head of the Austrian Falun Dafa Association called on all media outlets to focus on the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. It has been 10 years since the CCP started suppressing Falun Gong. The representative stated, "It has been verified that at least 3,200 Falun Gong practitioners have been tortured to death in China by the CCP."
  • Austria: "The Art Works Are So Touching"

    This is the first time the "Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance" art works were exhibited in Austria. The exhibition was held in the "Time" art gallery in the centre of Vienna from June 16 to June 27, 2009. It attracted a large number of painters and artists. Many were impressed by the skilful techniques of the participating painters.
  • United Kingdom: Falun Gong Participates in Edinburgh International Arts Festival Parade

    On August 9, 2009, Falun Gong practitioners from UK were again invited to take part in the famous parade of Edinburgh International Arts Festival. The Falun Gong procession consisted of banners, dancers, a float with the theme of "Falun Dafa is Good" and a waist drum group. Dancers in brightly-coloured costumes moved gracefully with fans in their hands.
  • France: Practitioners Hold Press Conference in the National Assembly

    To expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) brutal persecution of Falun Gong, the French Falun Dafa Association held a press conference in the National Assembly on the date marking the tenth year of the CCP's persecution of the practice.
  • Germany: "You must keep going"

    On July 25 2009, Falun Gong practitioners from Germany and Switzerland held an 'information day' in the famous tourist city of Freiburg im Breisgau, which is located in the scenic Black Forest of southern Germany. The event was to introduce local residents to the practice of Falun Gong and expose the Chinese Communist regime's brutal persecution of the practice.

    Falun Gong practitioners in Finland held activities in a riverside park near downtown Helsinki to introduce Falun Gong and expose the Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) ten-year persecution. The practitioners hung banners that read "Falun Dafa is good" and "Stop the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong", set up poster boards and handed out flyers and newspapers.
