Chinese Scholar Wang Weiluo: 'Shen Yun dances present pure compassion'

The New York-based Shen Yun Performing Arts Touring Company gave its final performance in Frankfurt's Jahrhunderthalle on March 14. Dr. Wang Weiluo, a renowned hydrologist now living in Germany and the author of the book Thirty-six Strategies of the Three Georges Project, travelled 160 miles to watch Shen Yun in Frankfurt. The artists were honoured with three curtain calls and resounding applause throughout the performances. -

The 13th Session of the United Nations Human Rights Council is being held in Geneva from March 1 to 26, 2010. This year, the Falun Gong Human Rights Working Group (FLGHR) invited four Falun Gong practitioners who suffered brutal persecution in China to further expose the CCP's persecution of Falun Gong with their own experiences. -
People from China Quit the CCP at a Tourist Spot in Europe

There were many parts in the show that moved Ms. Anthonio. Referring to the dance "Nothing Can Block the Divine Path," which shows the persecution of Falun Gong, she said, "I tried not to cry. It is really touching because you know it is happening all the time, that people are persecuted in China. They don´t have freedom, freedom of speech, or to do what they want." -

Chinese Communist Party Interferes with Shen Yun Performance in Romania
2010-03-02News from the European hosting organisation for Shen Yun Performing Arts stated that the Romanian Ministry of Education recently refused to allow its theatre to be used for the Shen Yun show. The local hosting organisation, the Romanian Falun Dafa Association, had a signed contract with the theatre, and have determined, based on an investigation, that the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) influenced Romanian government officials, who made the decision to cancel the planned performance. -

On the first weekend of the Chinese New Year, 135 Chinese tourists in Paris chose to quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organisations. There are many volunteers at the Service Centre for Quitting the CCP. Ms. Xing, in her 70s, goes there six days a week to distribute Falun Dafa materials and tell people the facts about the persecution in China.
