Rid of the Notion that We Need to First Protect Ourselves

Therefore, during our cultivation, we need to base ourselves on the Fa and position ourselves correctly. In other words, we need to require ourselves to act as Fa-rectification disciples would act. Otherwise, without strong righteous thoughts, we won't be able to see through this notion. We could even take that notion as our own thoughts. -
Set a Fixed Time for Fa Study and Make It a Priority
2009-03-28As a Dafa practitioner, studying the Fa well is the key to one's improvement. It is a prerequisite for sending righteous thoughts and for clarifying the truth well. I would like to suggest that all practitioners set a fixed time for Fa study, as we have done for practicing the exercises. -
Up and Compensating for Losses
2009-03-27Practitioners are coerced under brainwashing and torture to write "Repentance Statement," "Guarantee Statement" or 'Dissociation Statement" as proof that they have given up their belief. In the statement, the practitioner is forced to admit remorse for practicing Falun Gong, promise to give up Falun Gong, and never again associate with other practitioners or go to Beijing to appeal for Falun Gong. -
Opportunities to Achieve Good Results in Clarifying the Truth
2009-03-27When the cashier gave them change, one of them got a yuan bill with a truth-clarification message on it. I noticed that he readily held up the bill in the air, looked around, and then read aloud, "Heaven is eliminating the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Withdraw from the CCP to have a safe life!" Other customers heard him, and many walked over to take a look. -
The More We Memorize the Fa, the Faster We Rise in Levels
2009-03-26Sometimes, I had to spend one or two days to memorize just one complete sentence of the Fa. Regardless of how long it took, I memorized one sentence, then onto the next, then the third, and then tried it again from the first sentence right through the third. In so doing, I finally finished memorizing the first chapter within one year. -
Enabling Government Officials to Understand Morality

I think people can see how the Communist Party would consider that dangerous. 2009-03-25She has given all her savings to the coordinator practitioner, 5 yuan the first time and 15 yuan another time. The practitioner said to her, "You're too young. The money is for you to buy snacks. You'd better ask your grandma to keep it for you." She said, "No, the money is for making truth-clarification materials and saving sentient beings. I will give it to no one else." -
Myself Well When Talking to Students about Falun Gong
2009-03-24After talking with him a few times with no improvement, one day I ordered him to stand outside the classroom. After that period was over, I talked to him. He said, "Teacher, if I were a policeman, I would arrest you right away. I want to report on you because you talk about Falun Gong in class. You are talking about politics." -
Learning From Other Practitioners' Experiences
2009-03-24I really want to live in every article that I read and translate; many times the feelings are so strong that my shoulders tremble because I admire the young, poor cultivators in China who save every penny to buy supplies to print truth-clarification materials. Many of them would rather be expelled from school than to have Dafa defamed, and many have become orphans because their parents have sacrificed their lives for Dafa. -
Discussion on Responsibility
2009-03-23I treated people according to ordinary people's mentality. I would treat a person well if he/she treats me well; otherwise I would treat them so-so. I lacked a compassionate mindset. A Special Experience Sharing Conference in China
2009-03-22An eight-year old child who started the practice with his mum has continued to do the exercises and study the Fa every day. He has been able to follow the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance in school. Several times when classmates hit him, he did not fight back nor talk back. He has been able to endure without any complaints. -
My Nephew's 800 Yuan
2009-03-21His father spoke to him happily, "You could save 50 yuan for school supplies like pens and pencils, and use 30 yuan to buy the lunch tickets." My nephew said seriously, "Dad, I wanted to add 20 yuan from my savings to this money to make it 100 yuan and give it to the truth-clarifying material centre to save more people." His father looked at his son, tears wet his eyes.
