On a sunny spring day in Queensland, Falun Gong practitioners decorated a ship-like float with the theme of "Overcoming Stormy Seas to Arrive at Peaceful Shores" and participated in the Gold Coast Spring Parade, consisting of 37 floats. The float, the practitioners' exercise demonstration, and the message that it bore, "Truthfulness-Compassion-Tolerance," attracted a lot of attention.

The 45-minute parade from Palm Beach to North Currumbin was warmly welcomed by hundreds of spectators. The Falun Gong information booth provided valuable information to many visitors.
Many people who found out about the persecution in China expressed their support to us. Some members of a martial arts group expressed strong interest in the cultivation methods of Falun Dafa.
Councillor Ms. Dauphine McDonald especially expressed her appreciation to the Falun Gong practitioners. She said that she was very interested in the peaceful Dafa exercises and enjoyed our float. Practitioners had been trying to contact her in the past, but now she visited us on her own initiative.
The successful event has inspired us to participate in more community activities in order to spread Dafa.
