Finland: Falun Dafa is Spreading Throughout The Country

In the summers of 2001 and 2002 Falun Gong practitioners in Finland have been travelling around to spread the practice of Falun Dafa to different parts of Finland. In the places which are marked with green spots on the map, practitioners have spread information leaflets and demonstrated the exercises in the centres of the cities, towns and villages, contacted local officials to inform them of the situation in China, or have arranged a weekend-long Falun Gong exercise class. The yellow spots on the map are places where Falun Gong contact persons reside, and on those places there is a weekly exercise class. Apart from the markings on the map, many other actions have been taken to bring the truth to the awareness of the Finnish people and the country’s leaders. The truth is spreading on all levels.

Below are short stories from the trip to different places:

A man took pictures of us doing the exercises and of the words Zhen-Shan-Ren in Finnish on our T-shirts. We found out that he was a teacher of religious studies in a school and wanted to take pictures for a book of religious studies. He asked the Finnish practitioner to give him some information Falun Gong later on when she would be back home. [Please note that Falun Gong is not a religion, but because of it’s deep spiritual content it is sometimes mistaken for one]

A woman was really amazed to see Falun Dafa “live” in her hometown just a day after she had found the Falun Dafa website on the Internet.

When we were travelling in the countryside, we stopped to buy ice cream at a small village store standing alone at the side of the road. When we were paying for our purchase the clerk asked what “Falun Gong” on our shirts meant. We then explained and gave him some informative materials. When we were sitting outside enjoying the ice cream, the clerk came out to chat with us. He told us that he had heard a song on the radio in the morning with the message “You will receive good news today”.
