The Music of Falun Dafa

Around June of 1999, my mother sent me a tape of the Falun Dafa music “Pudu” and “Jishi.” I really enjoyed the tape and played it at work. One day, I asked one of my patients, whom I’ll call Mrs. L., “What do you see after you listen to the music?” Her answer was surprising. She told me not to think she was crazy for what she would tell me was the truth.

“I saw myself wearing a pretty white dress, getting up from the wheelchair, and dancing. It was beautiful. I like the music. Would you please get me a tape? I know I cannot get up to dance now, but I did see myself doing that.” At that time, Mrs. L, who was eighty-two years old, was having a hard time walking, even with a rolling walker. She had various disorders, including heart problems, shortness of breath, and lung problems. At that time, no place sold these music tapes, so I made copies for my patients.

A few months later, Mrs. L was readmitted to the same hospital. She told me another surprising story. One day, her son-in-law’s lower back hurt him so much that he was not able to work. Mrs. L invited him to listen to the music with her. He fell asleep listening to it. The next day, her son-in-law told her that his lower back pain was gone and he was able to go back to his farm work again without any other treatment.

Many other patients told me about similar experiences after listening to “Pudu” and “Jishi.” They all said they enjoyed the music and that, in the evening, when they were back in their rooms, they still thought about the music and felt they could still hear it somehow. Many patients wanted to have the tape before leaving the hospital. They included white, black, and Hispanic patients. My co-workers also liked the music and wanted to have the tape, too. They all told me that the music was soothing, relaxing, and calming. When the tape finished on one side, a patient would always remind me to turn it over. Many patients told me that somehow the music made them feel better.

We played other kinds of music as well. One day, a patient who had renal failure, dialysis, and other medical problems asked me to stop playing other kinds of music and to play my music-- the Falun Dafa music. He and other patients as well said this music helped them to understand more about life and that they wanted to hear it again and again.

Another patient, an eighty-two year old retired physician used to fall a lot. After each fall, he wanted to have ultrasound (deep heat) to his shoulders, lower back, or legs. One day during lunch break, I played my “Pudu” and “Jishi” tape while he was having ultrasound for his right shoulder. He liked the music very much and reported that he felt good right way and had no more pain.

Many people really enjoy Dafa music and have very positive experiences from listening to it. Why is this music so powerful?. If you want to understand more, please read Master Li’s book, Zhuan Falun. It can reveal many things to you. Also, listen to the music of Falun Dafa yourself to see what we are talking about. You too may have a wonderful experience with “Pudu” and “Jishi.”
