Japan: The Divine Land Marching Band Participates in the 54th Gifu Nobunaga Festival Parade

On October 2nd, the Divine Land Marching Band in Japan, consisting of Falun Gong practitioners, participated the 54th Gifu Nobunaga Festival parade held in Gifu city, Gifu province.

The parade, which started at noon and lasted for two hours, took place on Kinkabashi-Dori street. Eleven musical groups participated in all, and the performance of the Divine Land Marching Band attracted many people.

The Gifu Nobunaga Festival, which takes place on the first Saturday and following Sunday of October, pays homage to a former lord of Gifu, Mr.Oda Nobunaga (1534-1582). This festival takes place in the downtown area and features a procession of horses ridden by warriors down the city's main streets.
