Ms. Huang Meiying from Fuzhou City, Fujian Province and her family were sleeping around 1:00 a.m. on April 8th, 2010 when they were suddenly awakened by a violent knocking on the door. They were greatly astonished and saw a group of people led by officers Li Feng and Huang Yuhong from the Gulou District Police Department No.1 Section break into their home. The police proceeded to arrest Ms. Huang and took her straight into custody.

The police also confiscated a laptop and a desktop computer, a printer and other personal property.

To our knowledge, Ms. Huang and her elementary school-aged child went to visit a friend around 8:00 p.m. on April 7th, 2010 at a family quarters affiliated with the Fujian Province Agriculture Department near Hualin Road in Fuzhou City. They returned home afterwards. However, officer Li Feng arrested her under the guise that Falun Gong materials were found in that family's quarters, and the surveillance video camera installed at the entrance to the family quarters recorded that Ms. Huang had entered.

Ms. Huang's husband has to go to work, and no one is taking care of their child. The husband asked Li Feng about Ms. Huang's circumstances, and pleaded with them to let his wife return home as soon as possible. Li Feng threatened him, "Do you also want to be put in detention?"
