From February 3rd to 14th 2010, the Burgh House and Hampstead Museum displayed a selection of paintings from the Truth Compassion Tolerance Art Exhibition. Several of the artworks have never been shown in the UK before. Hampstead is a wealthy area of London with a high concentration of art galleries.

The exhibitors are a diverse group of accomplished artists. At the heart of their artworks are the universal values of Falun Gong: Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance. The paintings reflect the positive life changes the artists have experienced from the practice, and at the same time, bring to reality the current persecution of Falun Gong in mainland China. Many of the artists themselves have endured this persecution first-hand.

The private view on the 3rd attracted regular visitors of Burgh House and people interested in the Arts. Visitors were fascinated by the technique and message behind the paintings and wanted to encourage their friends and contacts to see the exhibition.

One lady was moved to tears and could not help crying as she absorbed the inner meanings of the paintings during a guided tour, seeing the uncompromising courage of practitioners under such a harsh persecution. Another visitor requested to have some extra leaflets; she said the exhibition is so important she will try and pass the leaflets on to as many people as possible.
