New Zealand: Falun Gong Participates in Annual Tip Top Santa Parade

The annual Christmas parade in Wellington, New Zealand, the Tip Top Santa Parade, was held on November 15th. Thousands of people lines the streets to watch. The Falun Gong entry consisted of about 100 practitioners and was warmly welcomed by the spectators.

The parade started at 2:00 p.m. from the Lambton Quay next to the Parliament building. More than 70 groups from different cultural backgrounds and countries, including Scotland, Ireland, Mexico, Indonesia, India and China, participated in the parade. The Divine Land Marching Band, consisting of local Falun Gong practitioners, also performed in the parade.
