Falun Gong practitioners in Japan participated in an open market activity held at the stadium of Nagoya University on Sunday, November 1st, 2009. The practitioners handed out informational materials about Falun Gong and the persecution to participants, including local people and some Chinese.

Seeing practitioners' peaceful exercise demonstration, a lady in her 50s who lived nearby wanted to learn more about Falun Gong. She said that she wanted to go to a practice site to join the practitioners in doing the exercises. She also wanted to visit Falun Gong-related websites. The lady left after a practitioner gave her the information she was seeking.

Nogoya University is a prestigious university in central Japan, which has become world-famous in recent years for having several professors and scholars win the Nobel Prize. At present, there are about 2000 overseas students and researchers at the university, among whom about 800 are from China.
